It read to me like one proposal with 3 parts. So, only 1 vote required. Part 1. Vote yes to letting Sevco into the SFL, Part 2. as a result of Part 1, yes to Sevco in Div 3, unless the SFL and SPL boards come to a sweetheart deal to let them in Div 1, and yes to allowing Dunf/Dund leave the SFL without the requisite notice being given. Would the SFL chairmen be brave enough to vote no to sevco at all ?

I still think we, as fans of our club, need to keep reminding SM that the long term best interests of AFC aren't necessarily tied in with believing the hype that Scottish football needs any one team. Surely he realises that the squad we currently have is heavily unbalanced. Let's say that somehow the teenagers Masson, Fraser and Smith all step up and are expected to play a major part next season. Is there any reason to think that they'll fare any better than Fyvie, Pawlett etc - the other "youngsters" who were physically unable to last whilst being asked to play a lot. As the club scouting system seems unable to track down any decent fullbacks, maybe avid football fans could come up with a few names to suggest that Pa Broon should look at.

I doubt making Mackie captain for the day will make any difference to the endeavour and quality on display. It is quite a decent gesture by the club, but I'm not sure it was really needed or worth doing. But my apathy meter is fairly high on the subject anyway.
