BTR? Probably covered in this thread but I can't be arsed trawling through it.

Winning coupon thanks to last minute Gillardino goal. Well as long as England don't capitulate.

Coupon retrieved from bin.

Italy loosing 2-0 to Cyprus in Italy right now
Coupon bust.

Exactly Baggy, redistribution of wealth is the issue in Scotland. The trouble is I can't see anything changing any time soon.

Bizarrely enough, we were chatting about him on Saturday night! Apparently feared going out in Aberdeen? Like anyone would recognise the guy anyway!
I think we agreed that we didn't want him at the Dons as well. But now he's training with the team...

McGhee is merely highlighting that Celtic and Rangers are getting nowhere near England. He made the point about Aberdeen throwing their hat in the ring to show how ludicrous Celtic and Rangers are being. The English don't need any Scottish sides in the league, ever, and talking about it is merely a waste of time.
McGhee continues to go up in my estimations.

Not sure about Willie's but davidm@afc.co.uk should be better than the feedback address.
I didn't realise Dave was still at the club. I used to chat to him regularly when I was more involved with the running of the RRR. Is he still involved with the PR side?
I would still rather try and get hold Willie Miller.

Anybody ken Willie's email address?
-
I think you're right BB. He kens that Aberdeen don't give much cash away these days.

Very positive news.

Going back to that youth side; What a prospect Paul Wright was. Another who never fulfilled his potential. I remember he sort of broke in to the team and scored a few partnering Charlie Nic before London came calling for him. It never quite worked out for him after that. St. Johnstone fans hold him in high esteem but I can't help feeling he could have held a career at a higher level.

Aberdeen 2 Dundee United 1, which effectively relegated them.
I think that has to be the one for me, which I guess is kind of sad in a way. The build up to the game in town the night before was pretty special. I can't remember it being a classic but the fact that so much rested on this game meant the atmosphere was something special. A sort of collective shitting of one selfs and then a hugh collective sigh of relief when we saw it through. The conga round the United team bus, with one sullen Jim McLean sitting inside, capped it all off.

Well on a forum that has 5 regulars that is almost, most peoples views there.
Haha. I think that's a FAIL.

Just search through El padres post history.
You did say most people's views. Any quotes?

I assume it will be rubbish Manc min. I'm amazed Willie Miller has the time to take out of his busy schedule to talk to disgruntled ex players.

Is it the number of hours Heather Mills took to get round the Total Wipeout course?
You watch the telly.

Who has said that though Sharpie? McGhee has us going steadily which is encouraging considering the lack of transfer action, the promotion of Fyvie, Pawlett and Paton is encouraging aswell.
Fair enough Mini, but there is no difference to what Jimmy offered thus far. Entertainment wise there has been no improvement yet. We are all hoping that McGhee will offer improved entertainment as well as steady progress in the league. For anybody to say that he is doing any better at the moment would be false. That is not to say anybody doesn't want him to show a marked improvement in the entertainment stakes. We are all craving it!

I take encouragement from it. Its certainly a solid platform from which to build, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. We have some big games coming up against our rivals for the european places and they've looked a lot more credible in front of goal than we have. Poor results against these teams and our clean sheet record isn't going to help us any. One particular season under JC, we had the 2nd best defence in the league but missed out on europe because of to many draws. McGhee needs to ensure we don't fall into a similar situation. We've made steady progress from the start of the season but as already mentioned we need to temper the optimism with some reality as from the performances I've seen there are going to be more slip-ups along the same lines as the cup exit.
That is pretty reasonable. Most of the comments from regular posters on this site have been reasoned. It's the twats that come over from Hat who come up with ridiculous 'McGhee has turned the club on it's head and everything is now rosy in the garden' who are not being reasonable.
