I read the 150 civillians died in Afghanistan in May alone due to NATO operations. People are still getting bombed to shit in Iraq by the very terrorists you claim to be suppressing. There is much more violence now than before the Allied attack. Do you believe the killing and maiming of all these innocent civillians is really worth it?

Considine is murder - no doubt about it but he's young and when Russell Anderson was the same age was he rated any higher? I'm not so sure.

I remember Anderson coming through. He was played at right back initially and whilst it was obvious he was not comfortable there but he was still much more accomplished than Considine at around the same age.

To be fair to Considine, nobody as young/inexperienced/shite as him should be forced to be the "anchor" of a defence containing Foster, Duff and Young.

I agree Cts but I honestly believe Gregg Watson was a better player than Considine. I've personally never seen anything in Considine. I hope to be proven wrong over the course of the season. He lacks pace and fails to win in the air often enough for a top defender.

It's time to take those two stars off the shirts and shorts.

What is Belgrade like? Been reading up on all the places we're going and there isn't too much on Belgrade really and what there is seems a bit sketchy

Stari Grad is a good place to go during the day for chilling out and grabbing a bite to eat. Head down to the Dabube at night as there are a lot of floating bars and nightclubs. Belgrade is pretty much an all night sort of place. Loads of tidy burds. I find it very safe as well. You'll probably get loads of folk come up and chat to you as they are mostly good English speakers.

I've got a mate in Belgrade, I'll give him a shout to find out the names of good places and I'll drop you a PM.

Sounds tremendous mate. You been to Belgrade before? We've added Novi Sad into our trip as we weren't sure if we'd make it at first, but it's a definite now.

 

 

Aye, been to Belgrade a couple times. Went to the Marakana for Red Star versus Milan for a Champions League qualifier a couple of years ago, which was an experience.

Hopefully you'll enjoy Novi Sad. The Serbs are mad but very friendly folk in general.

No, headed out to Belgrade on the 8th of August. Taking in the Guca trumpet fest, staying in the Serbian mountains near Pozega. Then headed up to Novi Sad for a few days culminating in a trip to Budapest for the Sziget fest.

EE saying that Johnson deal will be concluded in time for him to play in the Europe tie. Worringly enough, Mark McGhee is also quoted as saying that the player will likely make a few howlers sa he gets adjusted to playing for us... Apparently he has a tendency to rush out and try and win every high ball, but AFC'will sort that'.
