  1. Summer football would be a boost. TV money would be more substantial as summer foobtall would fill the void when the EPL is shut down. We are competing with EPL for broadcasters money and it goes without saying that it's a pointless contest. Add alcohol sales in to the mix and it makes for a more enjoyable experience.

  2. Just back from Serbia/Bosnia/Croatia. All amazing places, in particular Mostar and Sarajevo in Bosnia. So much to see, sunny all the time, good food and pretty cheap to travel around and see. People were pretty friendly as well, so if anyone is going travelling around that area of the world, I strongly recommend it!

Only downside I had about Croatia was that it wasn't far off UK prices, well the areas which we visited anyway, but still, a nice country to go to

I miss the Balkans. Sarajevo is cracking.

  3. I see it as a positive. I think it shows the club were only willing to pay him what they thought he was worth. If he gets to earn similar in Serie Z then so be it. Good luck to him and thanks for the effort toward the tail end of his Aberdeen career.

  4. True  :(

aye, he did play in midfield for a period. (as has Mackie, right enough)  Always felt Windass never performed against the OF, only got one goal against them, a penalty v the tims at Pittodrie after Shearer got Stubbs sent off on his debut.

but he made up for that against Hearts!

  5. Windass played quite a few games from midfield if I'm not mistaken? One things for sure, he had much more to his game than Mackie dreamed of having. Windass wasn't the Messiah, but he was definitely an entertainer.

  6. Work. I work shifts so have to work every second weekend. On the plus point I only have to work an average of 3 days a week. Luckily (or maybe not) I finish my Saturday shift in time to watch the Dons on Red TV.

  7. Sounds good, The Lips always put on a good show. I went to see Oribtal in September but can't remember much about it though have good memories of their 'farewell' gig at Somerset House a few years back.

Music festivals and gigs are about the only thing I'm missing over here. There is a decent dance music festival in December and that's about it. I'll be a Faither of 2 months by then so priorities will be changing in any case.
