  1. Forgot how many chances we created http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39175372
  2. Ah,just read the wee BBC footnote.Youd think theyd leave the time as TBC if theyre aware of possible changes
  3. Aye Stockley is worth a wee run in the side.Brought others into the game well, and won lots in the air. He'd be handier against the likes of County where there was no space to pass into,as long as punting it up to him is because its the best option, and not the standard. A pairing of him and McGinn or Storey working round about him could be fruitful
  4. Dons - Hibs Semi final on Sat 22 April at 15.00pm http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/scottish-cup/fixtures
  5. Your presence was a good tactic. 11'333 Well played
  6. Woohoo. Cant complain about that draw, Just back - Wasnt pretty but we deserved to win. Some decent interplay at times, which I wish they'd work more on,...and other spells of forgettable football, but a tough tie out the way that keeps the season ticking along. Am reluctant to drop Rooney in the assumption he'll get back on track, but, thought Stockley was much more useful today.Won more in the air,and some clever lay offs.Did well with the scraps he got. Shinnie and Pawlett had good games, but top Don for me was Considine.Always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, good aggresion.Looked like he'd been in there all season
  7. Haven't created much but deserve to be ahead.Their defence is a bit dodgy.a few more one twos around the box might work, theyre not bad in the air. Crowd doesnt look great from the SS 10 or 11k depending on thistle support
  8. Also a bit handy at the Dick Donald guess the crowd game, but fair enough I wasnt at that QF match
  9. Agreed A96,Ive rarely been in a Pittodrie crowd and thought it was way more than reported. There were also times during the McGhee era where folks were suggesting Milne was exaggerating the crowd because they were so small,ie a 5000 crowd reported as 7000... ...not suggesting Milne isnt a knob though
  10. Hear what you's are saying, but lets nae talk ourselves down.Thistle need to come at us more for this one, weve still got plenty flair to take advantage Be good if a few more armchair made the effort along....COYR
  11. A wee case of Estrella beers bought on the way home.
  12. Oooof thats just reminded me,ST holder but forgot I need to have a ticket.Take it there wont be a cash gate
  13. Maybe as well its been switched to Sunday, the forecast tomorrow looks utter shite.Hope the pitch holds up. Surely Thistle wont sit in like County, could make for an exciting game...
  14. Crack on Nips, youre playing a stormer.... .... Hope theres a positive crowd for this one.Not a game to be getting on their backs(Ash/Rooney )after last night.Love the SC,canna beat a cup run.Dons to bounce back with a 3-1 win. COYR
  15. Hope we turn out for this one, this'll be a toughie. Forecast so so,live on TV - I'll go 13,167,..maybe pushing it.Jags take up 1000?
  16. We pummelled them.Just one of those shitey games, nae overdwelling on it. Big game on Sunday now,COYR
  17. Tuesday night at Hamilton...doesnt get better than that Out Hame, radio and live chat http://chat.donstalk.co.uk/example/default.html Bed 1 - 1 Considine
  18. Lowering the bar a bit,but Ive been getting lazy recently, stopping off at the bakers for pies/pasteries too often for lunch this last while,so made a random sandwich mix the day of cheese, red onion, avocado and mayo. So tasty,I'm having it on toasties tonight for the fitba too. Nae bonny enough for a photo though....
  19. Great to hear, did well to find him in the first place.Keeps us a good core for the next couple of years.
  20. Speaking of cafes, often pop into the Bothy in Braemar after a hill wander.Good food(without being haute cuisine),nice layout, and in better weather a seat on the deck/terrace directly above the river Cluanie.
  21. Castletons cafe is good, often swing past after a game of golf in the area. Not a bad farm food shop too,if a bit pricey
  22. French - add sweaty to the hairy oxters......one for Walter Sobchak
  23. ^^^^lol Dobs Nice accent, shame about the rest of her...Am oot
  24. I meant at the end of the season before Shinnie started playing for us,when Considine had been playing regularly at l/b.Some(on Abmad at least) were wondering then,if we would have been better using resources on a midfielder instead. ps am not saying I want him at l/b,just that he adapts well to where he plays.I would also prefer him at C/B
  25. Rooneys a tough one at the moment.Off form, but still bagging goals.I think chopping and changing with Stockley early season maybe knocked him off his stride a bit,if not his confidence,so theres an argument for keeping him in there permanently,in the hope he also regains form, But, we struggled/were fortunate against County tbh.Would having Storey or similar,on from the start have caused them more problems? Looked like we needed more pace, movement, and one twos to work thru County to me.We got away with it yesterday, but County created the better chances IMO.Definitely scope to improve how to play these type of games ps the highlight is up http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/39097339
