  1. I don't mind the collar part. It's the rest of it that's a bit meh.
  2. The Good Doctor. 3 seasons in. Nae too bad so far.
  3. That was nae too bad a day oot.
  4. Whenever you hear "Don't make it political" it's usually from a mental right-winger whose whole personality is being a mental right-winger. McInnes' policy of signing British and Irish players is all well and good. I understood why he did it but we were still getting smashed by the old firm regularly and more annoyingly (in my opinion) never trying to do anything against them. Jimmy has overseen a few hidings already but we take the game to them more which I'll always prefer. If you're going to go down you might as well go down swinging etc. I don't understand the issue with the players' nationalities. We had Considine for most of his career. A fine servant to our club. Spineless? I wouldn't describe him as such but 9 times out of 10 he came out second best against the better teams. Exposed for pace and a fair few red cards. Spineless? No. Just didn't have the quality required. Even though he wasn't foreign shite. I'm worried that McInnes might do quite well at Hearts. Although for their sake I hope he gets more out of Shankland (Scottish shite) for Hearts than he did for Aberdeen. Never a better example of a one season wonder!
  5. I'll be on my way back up the road by half time.
  6. He's in the latest season of Peaky Blinders too. Plays a football ref that refuses to be corrupted. Dons fan in real life seemingly. Wonder if he managed to get a SC final ticket.
  7. Doohan can go. Safe to say I won't be losing much sleep about that.
  8. Doesn't look anywhere near fully over the line to me.
  9. I caught "Ref Watch" on SSN yesterday. They included the "incident" where a free kick was awarded to Aberdeen after a brief goalmouth scramble for a foul on Mitov I think. Dermot Gallagher seemed to be of the opinion that there was no foul and that the "goal should have stood" (possibly paraphrasing) but for a goal to stand the ball would first have to cross the line and it seemed pretty clear to me from the replay from behind the goal that the whole ball wasn't even close to crossing the line. Fuds.
  10. I liked his remark about the Hampden attendance being vice-versa had the tie been played in Peterheid and he absolutely must push for a 50/50 ticket split. It is of course an absolute disgrace that any club out with the arse cheeks has to "push" for equality at a so called neutral venue. Whoever makes it to a final should be given every opportunity to sell half. That should be the default situation.
  11. Easy for me to say as a fan but selling off your sporting advantage of being the home side isn't something that's worth it in my opinion. The double away section that the bigots used to get at Pittodrie seems unthinkable now and not just because we're selling more tickets to home fans. Even if we weren't I would rather have those seats empty than fill them with away fans that may help give our opponents any sort of boost. Fuck that. If I were a J I would indeed be raging. The only sort of mitigating circumstance that I could think of would be if the club (like ICT for example) are fighting for their very existence which, as far as I know no club in the top division is.
  12. Don't agree that he rode his luck. No fouls that he committed on Saturday were worthy of more than the single yellow card that he got. Motherwell players hitting the deck as soon as they're within spitting distance of Gueye doesn't constitute him riding his luck IMO. I thought Gueye was good at the weekend. I do note that I appear to be in the minority there right enough. I thought his play was mostly tidy and he causes defenders problems. And as you say I think we might need his physicality.
  13. Agreed. I was actually put off when I heard it was a Netflix thing because as you say much of their stuff (recently at least) is shite but there is the odd exception. This being one of them. Also watched A Thousand Blows recently too. Another Stephen Graham one (Although I think this one is Sky Atlantic rather than Netflix? Could be wrong). It's OK. A genuinely struggled with the Jamaican accents at times though.
  14. Problem with this is that more often than not he is the one not up to expectations. Passing often very slack and gives the ball away a lot. But you're right about him bollocking others (for doing the same thing). I'd still rather have Shinnie as captain. Unless his role is to change to a bit part one.
  15. That was my thought once the feeling of betrayal subsided. A very replaceable player. Now it's up to the club to make that replacement happen and I'm confident that they will.
  16. I have never seen anything to back up this unfortunately.
  17. I was at that game and never even noticed him.

Thoughts to his beneficiaries. 12 years in a nursing home will take a heavy toll on their inheritance!
  19. Hibs have been fucking rank all season. Shite manager and clueless board. Polar opposite of us this season. But something tells me that it's not going to be the routine win for us that the teams' forms suggest. JMG.
  20. BBC Gossip column saying that the cost of the new grun is no longer £50m but £80m. I will not name the "source" out of principle but that's Duk's price tag gone up drastically.
  21. Then JT will still be this year's love.
  22. The traffic has been a pain in the arse too. Can't wait until we're shite again so we get hame quicker.
  23. The last away game I was at (not including away games at Hampden ) was Killie away in the Scottish cup aboot the day before Covid closed the world. It was a good one, admittedly!
  24. I'll step aside and let the real fans get their tickets sorted for this one.
  25. Got a source for any of that stuff?
