Going to be a very difficult one on Thursday. Back to basics for me, solid at the back and in midfield and let the creative players do their thing in a recognised (for us) formation. No dicking about. Get back on track and start winning games convincingly before we try fucking about with the setup. Keep Maynard the fuck away from the game. Awful performance. No clue what we are trying to do in possession. Are we a long ball team?? Questioned our style of play at times last year and we were so reliant on the individual play of Hayes and McGinn, was excited to get GMS and Stewart but so far not so good. We don't look good in possession and look very poor defensively - Joe had a bad game, possible his first - but this clearly highlighted our weaknesses tonight.

I know it's not all about one player but McLean.....why?
