Cooking up a storm

Not a photo of mine (forgot) but made a Mediterranean chicken bake.  Avoided the pesto as the mrs can't have it, but added balsamic vinegar, aubergine and pine nuts with a bit of Thyme from the garden.  Was delicious!

Okonomiyaki, Kansai, well Osaka street food, really easy to put together.  No bacon or prawns as I didnt have any so it was fully veggie.  I added a few bean sprouts and avoided the fish flakes.  Love it and could easily eat it all day long.

 

 

Not my photo but it's not too dissimilar. 

 

Only thing, need to make sure you have the pan hot enough and ideally put a lid on it so you bake it slightly as well as grill.  As it's got egg, water and flour in, the middle can sometimes take a while to cook through.

I noticed the Garioch chipper in Inverurie has been listed in some best British chippers top ten or other. These awards are invariably falsified and fiddled but still. 

Any of you mealers sampled their wares afore. Worth a travel out?
