THE DONSTALK BOOK CLUB

First up, may I recommend Gary Sutherland's "Hunting Grounds":

Its an excellent journey round all 42 Scottish fitba grounds in one season.  Detailing transport, pre-match venues for a pint, the quality of the pies at the ground, and a review of the performance of both the players and the fans.  He goes into some depth in his report for each ground.  Its rather witty too!

He obviously visits Pittodrie (2-2 cup game with Hibs last season), and also a Falkirk v Aberdeen SPL game where the away fans are praised.

How did you find this book Kow? I just downloaded a sample to it the other night but was looking for a second opinion before I buy it!

Very good read, very well researched!  Some interesting stuff about when Mourinho was interviewed for the Barca job (before Guardiola) and also when the Huns were trying to get Messi on loan! Neither of which I'd heard before.

If the novelty of marriage has worn off, get your missus on to reading this stuff ;)

OMG God,  Please don't let her buy a copy.  :o

The only 50 shades of grey I know about is my hair these days  :(

Tubes: Behind the Scenes at the Internet by Andrew Blum. Not technically complex but a good insight into the magnitude and physical parts of the internet.

No. :( I can't see what book it is. And if it's nothing to do with the book then I don't get it!

Could it be they are trying to create a "buzz"  ;)

You lot should stop toying with him and tell him what it is.

He'll just moan and groan if we don't

So I'm supposed to giggle every time I pass a stand of batteries because they power vibrators?  ??? ???
