Transfer window - Summer 2014

Interest in Lee Croft according to the Express

Managers Terry Butcher and Derek McInnes have both expressed an interest, but they face competition from Birmingham, Sheffield United and Rotherham, while Major League Soccer is also an option for the 28-year-old winger.

Croft helped St Johnstone reach their first-ever Scottish Cup Final and has played an influential role in getting Tommy Wright’s side into the top six of the Premiership.

The Englishman is out of contract in the summer and could leave McDiarmid Park under freedom of contract, although talks continue on an extension to his existing contract.

Croft is in his second spell with Saints. He also had stints at Derby, Manchester City, Norwich, Huddersfield and Oldham.

Lot of money being put on Boyd going back to the Huns, dunno if that's inside info or wishful thinking. Most of the Huns need to be punted before they can ever challenge Celtic again, so have to laugh at theses guys basically going for a few extra pennies (if they can afford to pay wages) and a championship medal

Boyd AND Miller

McCoist really is a dick

Ain't going to happen unless they fill the immediate necessity for £7m cash.

Surely even the thickest, knuckle dragging, inbred, sister shagging, goat riding, Gazza cock sucking, flute playing HUN ever born must baulk at sticking their cash into that crock of shit....proverbial dead man walking ;D

Sorry, my bad.....

Meant giro, not cash ;)

I doubt he'll leave Killie.

DONS boss Derek McInnes today confirmed he has held talks with Kris Boyd.

Scotland international Boyd is out of contract with Kilmarnock and is available on a Bosman.

McInnes has pitched a move to Aberdeen FC to the prolific striker and hopes he will choose to play for the Pittodrie club.

Dundee United and French side Nimes are also chasing him, after Rangers pulled out of the race.

Boyd is currently on holiday and is taking time to consider his options.

McInnes said: "I managed to meet and talk with Kris and also talked to his agent.

"We have had a discussion and said we would like to bring another forward into the club.

"We have made a pitch of what Aberdeen can be as a club for Kris.

“Kris has a few other options and wants some time to consider them.”

Aberdeen FC have today denied rumours that Chris Burke, Kris Boyd and David Goodwillie are training with the squad in Dublin.

Just been confirmed that Goodwillie has left Blackburn by mutual agreement.

Could he be on his way to AFC??

Thank fuck for that. For a minute there I was worried we were looking at some decent players.

BBC Saying Kilmarnock are sniffing about Goodwillie and apparently want him to partner Boyd next season.

DonsTalk twitter account says Boyd is off to Sevco?

Gutted if true.

I am sure DM will have something up his sleeve though.

Why the fuck is that on Twitter but not on the main forum? Nae wonder folk aren't bothering coming here.

What you post on Twitter is: "Major AFC signing target opts for another club. Visit the forum for more on this." and traffic goes up.

You're welcome.

Agreed.

I mean WTF is that all about.

Why would there be a twitter feed not directing folk onto here  ???

Totally dismayed  ::)

Dave, you guilty  ???

He's guilty of many, many things.

This included (probably).

Then again if even he doesn't post why would he tell folk to come here!

he'll head back to snake mountain.

Both Dundee and Aberdeen are far too far away from his homeland for the wages that will be on offer

Daily mail now reporting hes gone back to snake mountain

Fucking great ambition Kris.

Can't help but think this was always going to happen however.

As Tyrant says..... next please

Just not the knicker ripper please  ::)

If it was such a done deal you would think it would have been confirmed by now.
