EE: Maguire can be next Booth or Jess for Aberdeen FC

‘Maguire can be next Booth or Jess for Aberdeen FC’

Chris to hit heights, says Craig Brown

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today tipped Chris Maguire to hit the same dizzy heights which Eoin Jess and Scott Booth reached in their playing days.

Brown believes rising star Maguire is one of the best talents to come through Aberdeen FC’s youth system since Jess and Booth burst on to the scene nearly 22 years ago.

He should know, because the former Scotland boss capped Jess and Booth at Under-21 and full international level.

No chance.

Yeah, you are cool!

Am I fuck.

You're complaining about the boy when he's scored a hat-trick and set up another 2

Like I said, I've seen him play better, what's the problem?

Great confidence booster for the lad, now lets see what he can do in the league

Give the boy a break.

If that was only ok - you have unrealistic expectations.

Vernon who you said was a donkey had a much better allround game today than Maguire, is it unrealistic to expect a player to do the simple thing instead of the hard option?

No he didn't. Maguire had a better game than Vernon. Vernon is a donkey for missing easy chances. And i'd much rather that Maguire tried the harder option when he's playing against lesser opposition when we're already safely through to the next round.

Good response from Maguire.

Done ok today, I would even go as far to say I have seen him play better and not score.

FUCK ME!

Just as well you are too fucking young to have ever seen Joey Harper in his prime.

I'd have someone playing "less than their best" and getting hat-tricks. You gonna tell me Frunkie was playing at his best all the time, but has one of(if not the best) goals per game ratio.

Maguire's job today was to score. He did. 3 times. End of.

(PS are you Stoney in disguise?)

Nope, just saying that I have seen him play better and that was against a much better team too, Maguires little primadonna brain will be in over drive after today, let's see how he goes next week against the big boys.

Think we may have found the lads level

You are an ERSE!

You'd have booed/slagged Jess/Booth/Shearer/Harper/Winchester/Graham/Weir/Black/Strachan/early-Willie-Miller/just-about-anyone-in-a-red-shirt in their day.

Is anyone good enough for you?

I don't really get where this 'primadona' myth or supposed attitude problems stems from. The people that seem to know best about his attitude seems to be Stoney or MiniJC. The boy has improved dramatically over the course of the past few seasons and has continued to improve this season. To be slated for scoring a hat-trick and setting up two is ridiculous whoever your playing.

I've seen him play better against better sides, what's the big deal with saying that?

So it's Maguire's fault that East Fife aren't a better side? or it's his fault he didn't score more? I'm confused.

Neither, jus more or less saying that folk shouldn't wank themselves blind over a hat trick against east fife.

I'm not "wanking myself blind" but neither do I criticise a player unfairly.

Mostly less.

Much less.

You and stoney are pretty much a pair a boring dicks.

Sorry but were you at the game MBT?  I was and he was average, his movement at times was bad, running in to the box in a straight line  with no real despire, he took his goals well TBF but like I said I've seen him play much better against better sides which says it all really.

TF, I'm pointing out facts, I've seen him play the majority of his Aberdeen games and todays performance wasn't up to much.

Not fishing, would you say that today was one of his best performances?
