Aberdeen were top of the SPL after winning their first two games but are now joint bottom with Hamilton on 10 points and have failed to pick up a point since McGhee convinced the board he could turn the club around a fortnight ago.Ā He previously claimed he could see signs of improvement but said: "I have to be really careful now.Ā "We went out believing we had a shape that would give us a chance to deal with Killie and their expansive play and still give us a chance of winning the game.Ā "The first half showed that was true, but we didn't. Therefore there is a danger at this point, for the first time, that the confidence really starts to go. Obviously I have to be on alert for that."
