If Our Manager Wasn't Mark McGhee...

would he have been binned last season, or even this season? Or would he be the subject of serious abuse from supporters if he hadn't been such a great player for us?

I never wanted McGhee in, and I said on these pages that one of the reasons for that was that i couldn't stand the pain of seeing of one of our greatest ever players (that's something that will never change) leaving the club in such a sad way again.  Willie Miller being sacked as manager was one of the saddest days as a Dons fan.

But, I got pretty fed up last season, I know some were less patient in the length of time it took for them to get fucked off with him (i.e. pre season training, 2009  ;)) and the excuses just now are wearing thin... the results wore thin some time ago and as for selelction and tactics, well...

I'm not calling for him to go, but he's not just drinking in the last chance saloon surely? They're calling time and putting the chairs up on the tables. We can't go on like this, legend or not, but where the fuck do we go from here whether he stays or not?

There was a second one?

There was a second one?

Indeed.

There was a second global combat from 1939-1945 which involved most of the world's nations (including all of the great powers) organised into two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. It was the most widespread war in history, with more than 100 million military personnel mobilised.

Any further question, see BigAl. He heard most of it on the wireless as he'd already retired by then.

Think he only heard it on "open all mikes" though as he was steamin' and couldn't be arsed changing the channel to listen to Bob Crampsey and Alistair Alexander who were there live.

Arthur Montford referred to it as an almighty stramash!

You know the kids over here get taught in history class that the Americans won the war. We would all have been speaking German if they did not get involved. LOL.

Doesnt surprise me

In some states they are taught god created the world in 7 days and darwin was satan.

I think some also call Vietnam a draw and mark Mcghee's managerial career successful

Actually I don't think they get taught about it at all really.

My 11yo step-daughter actually asked me why we were celebrating July 4th (And she's actually fairly bright)

Maybe they don't anymore. I know my wife and her uncles and aunts and parents all got taught that.

I get asked all the time by people do you celebrate the 4th of July in Scotland. Um Scotland is part of Britain, 4th of July celebrates American freedom from Britain so why would Britain celebrate it LOL.

Yeah, but she's US born, bred and educated!!

You'd think..........................mind you she does know what Halloween is all about!

John Candy?

Candy Staten (Island)

Not to worry lads, when Pawlett and Vujadinovic come back at xmas we'll have a full squad to choose from and we can write this off as a period of transition.  Can't you see that the whole of last season was a period of transitional transition, and only now we are in the real period of transition.  With failure to win in 6 eminently winnable SPL matches, transition has never felt so good.
