I never wanted McGhee in, and I said on these pages that one of the reasons for that was that i couldn't stand the pain of seeing of one of our greatest ever players (that's something that will never change) leaving the club in such a sad way again.  Willie Miller being sacked as manager was one of the saddest days as a Dons fan.

 

But, I got pretty fed up last season, I know some were less patient in the length of time it took for them to get fucked off with him (i.e. pre season training, 2009  ) and the excuses just now are wearing thin... the results wore thin some time ago and as for selelction and tactics, well...

No real reason from me NOT to go for Scott should a vacancy arise, certainly in the short term, I think he would get a wee bit more out of this squad.

I know Dundee fans weren't keen on him, but I think he has something to offer us. An old head, knows the club and I think he could bring this squad on.  I said earlier when I posted the team that i was happy with the side (obviously there are fitness issues with one, maybe more at the moment), that team should be doing better than surrendering meekly to Hearts at home and I certainly think Scott would get more out of them.
