‘Pittodrie pitch could wreck my Aberdeen FC dream’

Paul Marshall fears for new deal

PAUL Marshall today revealed he fears the Pittodrie pitch could cost him a new Aberdeen FC deal.

The 20-year-old signed in the January transfer window from Manchester City until the end of the season.

But he admitted the uneven surface at Aberdeen FC has so far prevented him from showing his best for the Reds.

“At the moment the pitch is very poor,†he said.

“It is very hard to play the ball on the ground and I haven’t been able to show how well I can play football because the pitch is so bad."

A good passer he may be but he really hasn't got much, if any, better.

Pity, he looked like there he could have pushed on from a decent start but moaning about pitches doesn't help his cause much. Yes the pitches are very poor but it's Scottish fitba. Pish wi the cock you've got.

Yet to see evidence of that.

I saw plenty evidence at United away in January.  Looked a very tidy footballer with some neat touches, also set up Mulgrew's goal with a nice pass.
