What Have You Been Watching on TV?

Oz and James Drink to Britain - must be great to get paid going on a booze up round the British Isles.  Very entertaining though.

Total Wipeout - has anyone seen this?  I'd love a crack at it!

Line of Duty new series begun at the weekend past.

Excellent first episode, doesn't look as if it will disappoint.

Waiting for this to come out over here.  Enjoyed the previous series.

Started watching the OA on Netflix, bizarre series that i'm not sure about yet, but interesting nonetheless.

Looking forward to stranger things / handmaids tale and of GOT coming out this year.

I liked it. Bit stupid in places, but original enough and good. Brit Marling very good.

Started the second series.  As you said, original and stupid in places, but we're enjoying it.

Watched the first episode of the final series of GOT tonight. Glad to have it back!

So, GoT has been predictably great! Won't discuss it as I know everyone hates spoilers.

New series of Killing Eve has started over here.  As good as the previous series, and I have to congratulate Villanelle on her perfect pronunciation of Hagel Slag   She's also a stunner.

Looking forward to Deep State / Handmaids Tale / Stranger things which all start over the next few months.

Catch 22. Loved the book, watched the first episode directed by George Clooney. Hilarious viewing, although the wife wasnt too keen.

Also started the second series of deep state. Loved it the first time round and its not disappointing this time round either

Delhi crime, which is about the horrific gang rape on a bus in Delhi. Interesting to see how they do things (from a police perspective) over there.

Started the chernobyl series last night too. Understandably grim

The Virtues. Best thing I've seen on the telly in a long time.

Just on the iPlayer but the Allan Clarke diary’s have been worth a look.

What was the virtues on, Rico?  Will keep an eye out for it.

Watched the first three episodes of A Handmaids Tale.  I hope they end it after this one. Nothing overly shocking has happened thus far, which wasn't the case in the previous two seasons.  Hope it picks up.

Strangely watched he first episode, didn't take to it at all and didn't watch any more. Might go back and try it again

Fair play to Top Gear. It was hilarious last night, some genuinely LOL moments. Best series for a long time, including some of the later Clarkson/May/Hammond series which were beginning to go stale anyway.

The Capture on BBC1 has been very good. Hope it maintains its high standards and doesn’t get too silly by the end.

Darren McGarvey's Scotland on BBC Scotland has been excellent.

When they see us was also decent on Netflix.

A Confession.

True story, very goodly acted.

Some cracking performances, not least from Imelda Staunton. It was a good watch.

Stranger Things, never in a million years did I think I'd enjoy it, but I absolutely fucking loved it.

Good man, it's a brilliant show!

Definitely Manc, me and the Missus binge watched it, and have just discovered a few days ago that there's a 4th Season coming in 2020.

I went into with absolutely zero expectations and never thought it'd be up my street, but it fast became one of my favourites. Love all the characters ( Hopper especially ) and it has a very good Soundtrack. I could talk about it all day Manc, fucking loved it.

Haha I think the soundtrack is one of my favourite things about it tbh. Very vogue at the mo, but I fucking love it.

Looking for some recommendations please.

We have finished True Detective ( Season 1 ) , Stranger Things, Broadchurch, The Bay & The Sinner.

We're looking for something similiar to start watching next, we enjoy an episide or two when the kids go to bed.

Mystery, Crime, whodunnit etc... all welcome, thanks.

True Detective Season 2, or perhaps True Detective Season 3?

Bloodline good on Netflix for that line of programme.

Amazon, Mr Robot been very good (if you can cope with Rami Malek's voice).
