Cursed them as fell asleep at half time and wake up to find they chucked the two goal lead and Sarsfield got two back in second half.

Fulham v Chelsea been entertaining so far. Probably helped by neither side being able to defend. Chelsea just gone 1-2 up.

Was just coming on to say Chelsea gone 1-3 up following a good goal by Cole Palmer but Fulham just made it 2-3.

I could understand why they didn’t as the lad was completely off form through a mixture of injuries and having played to many games. However I would have taken him just because he has it in him to produce something different so worth a place even as a sub.

From last nights evidence the break of not playing in the World Cup might have done Palmer some good as he was better than at anytime last season.

Celtic looking like they are qualifying for next round of Champions league. 1-1 at half time has them 4-1 up on aggregate. LASK strip looks very familiar.

I did say last week I hoped they would get pumped 4-0, but 5-1 is even better.

I know some people will point out the negative effect on the UEFA coefficient, but balls to that. Celtic have just out-Hibsed Hibs.

You have to put up with a lot of heartache watching fitba, especially with teams like us, but occasionally the game throws up an absolute delight that totally rekindles your love for the game.

Watching a Tim bottle job so vast you could see it from space - one that even Hibs probably couldn’t manage - was one of those occasions. That was simply glorious.

The beautiful game indeed…
