  • I'm very glad that I can watch the Dons most weeks and then switch off to all other football (Scotland aside). I do watch the occasional game on the telly (rarely a whole game), mainly the BBC Friday

Am I right in thinking that every single Premiership team has taken something from Pittodrie this season - except Hearts? Had they won at Pittodrie earlier in the season, they'd already be champi

The Inverness Masons are leading Dumbarton 7-0 at HT in some minor skirmish in Dumbarton (sorry Mason).

Alfie Bavidge - whose granda, Mitch, I can remember banging in goals for Keith decades ago - has scored four.8

Fuck the Heelan Hun Caley bstds, but fine work from the loon.

I recall watching Mitch Bavidge cutting his teeth at Stoney Juniors before heading to the Highland League.

Played in the Hive team that got to the last 16 of the Scottish before getting knocked out by eventual runners-up Linlithgow Rose......73-ish?

Och, all we need is a near perfect second half of the season and the titles ours 🤣

Now that we've got all of this season's losses out the way early, should be a certainty.

What result are we wanting between the two minks tonight? Both losing doesn't appear to be an option annoyingly, but does a jute win help or hinder us?

Similar question for todays game of Hearts v Sevco, I'd say a draw suits us best

On another note, that Guantanamo Bay Sevco away strip is truly horrible.

I can't imagine why Rangers have an orange away strip...

Is it to honour all the Dutch players and staff that they have?

Huns gettin' spanked by Farts ;) . 2-0 tae the diets.

Kris Boyd says that the huns are out of the title race.

Were they ever in it?

Morgan Rogers with two great strikes to put Villa 2-1 up on Manchester United.

Not that I follow English football as closely as I used to, but i wouldn't mind seeing Aston Villa win the league. I've had a bit of a soft spot for them for years. I am not sure exactly why.

Always seemed to be a decent club. Had mates that were Blues and Villa fans, the latter always just seemed more likeable / less scummy for reasons unknown.

3 points off top so definitely in the title race. League race down there looks like it will decent this season.

Some quality of penalties in last night's shoot out between Arsenal & Palace 😲

Personally would have preferred Palace to have emerged as winners.

What’s game like. Hotel I am in has no SKY in bar so watching AFCON instead.

Decent watch

Newcastle 67% possession, hit the cross bar once, but other than that created very little else that threatened a goal to be honest

Yep, can’t help thinking we made a mistake there letting him walk…

I think Armstrong is a marginally better player, but we're not getting four years out of him (I wouldn't be surprised if we only get one), and Hibs got a player with a good three years, at least, left in him. Just another bit of bad business from us. I think it's fairly clear that we had no intention of signing Armstrong until he happened to be a free agent at the end of the window, so it's another case of how poor the squad building has been. Imagine we had let McGrath leave and missed out on Armstrong too? We'd have been left with nothing. Or worse, Milanovic.

Some start to the Livi v Tims game. Three goals in the first ten minutes.

So they’ll doubtless still lose, but clearly utter shite like Livi can put up a better effort against the Tims than us…

2-2 now ... wi 10 mins on the clock 😮

It will either finish 14-14 or stay at 2-2.

3-2 Tims

Crackers if it really was due to him wanting 3 years and us only offering 2, even more so when we gave 32 yo Nilsen a three year deal.

We offered a three year deal, they offered a four year one allegedly

Assume I have missed something here but how are Sky allowed to show the Livi/Tims game live at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon 😉
