Firstly no intention to wind up Rico ( but it is a bonus) by starting this more than forty eight hours ahead of January window closing BUT as a squad we are all over the fucking place and even at this early stage I would imagine we all would have opinions on what need to happen over the summer.

Appreciate that certain things might be addressed in the remaining forty eight odd hours of the winter one BUT given our performance to date, coupled to us being manager less, I wouldn't stake any money on it

If it is as you suggest, and obviously it's pure speculation, then we need a manager who is strong enough to handle these types of things without players going in a huff or being told to leave. 

I'm wondering if it's just internet speculation and if Nilsen has been allowed to go home for a few days in the international break.

It could just be as simple as he knows he's away in the summer anyway and he's had an offer from a Norwegian club who are just starting their season.  You can understand why he would want to go now and I can understand why the club would let him.  

Aye, the Norwegian transfer window closes next week I think and doesn’t open until July so he’d miss a huge chunk of a new club’s season if he didn’t go now. So all makes sense from his side and the club seem to be doing right by him, which hopefully won’t come back to bite us.

Now confirmed on club site.

Nilsen away back to Norway, with a coaching role and Elvis has been signed.

I had to look up what that meant! Interesting. I couldn't find a Saint Elvis though.

glad to see this happening, different lad and position, but hope he’s as successful as Scott McKenna after his loan!

This is great news and I really hope it works out for all concerned. Definitely had the hype about him this season and we really need to be turning some of these youth loans into something productive.

Would you take a punt on Calvin miller this summer? 1 yr left on his contract, not young, 29 in January, but we’ve heard Robinson say we have too may projects. Age suggests seasoned, but is he a one season wonder??

left back/left mid, certainly a position/player we could use (although same could be said of every position.)

He's playing at the peak of his career and looks as fit as he possibly could be. I have a feeling he might go backwards beyond this season, but could be wrong. He plays in a difficult role too, because he's not the quickest winger in the world. I'm not totally convinced, and I'm not convinced that he'd get the game time here that is so important for a player like him. McGinn used to get three games of being pish for us, before he produced something brilliant in his fourth. I have a feeling we wouldn't do that for Miller, in the same way we wouldn't for Keskinen.
