As the issue has been made public, it cannot be ignored etc etc. Ryan has been a good servant etc and as an Aberdeen loon he should know the ill feeling that would be caused by moving to the scum. His career choices are, of course, entirely his own but out of respect for the fans and his teammates clarification of his intentions either way should be forthcoming due to the magnitude of the event. I assume this type of situation is exactly that which DST was designed for? The difficult questions that represent fans concerns.

If Christie was available, I'd agree. However, as McLean will play further forward, a Shinnie and Jack midfield is the best option I think we've got. Obviously, if it is known that he is to join the hun, then Shinnie and O'Connor should be the preferred option.

Begs the question of whether he's good enough for us to take the risk on? I don't think he's pish, but is he really good enough to give another chance to? What if he gets red carded within the first few games and we lose patience with him and decide to ditch him. Deek, correctly IMO, decided pretty early into the season that Storey wasn't good enough but he's taken up a wage and a place on our bench for an entire season when he had no real chance of playing. Surely we go for someone else and accept the risk that they might not be as good as Stockley, but that they probably will be? That said, we haven't even replaced Vernon or Magennis with a better option, so maybe better the devil we know.

Just saw Stockley's second yellow in the highlights. Very harsh. His arm is there and the guy runs into it, unlike his original yellow where he put his arm out. Shame for him, but he needs to be a lot smarter.

My theory on Wright is that he doesn't have the work rate. Just from the few times I've seen him. Compared to McGinn or Hayes, it's just nae there. Nae really seen enough of him though, but McInnes clearly doesn't rate him. That leaves us with zero youngsters coming through for next season unless Harvie returns ready. Fae your list, I'd take Walker and Crawford definitely and probably Boyce (although he's almost too much like Rooney in position and pace). The rest I'm nae convinced by. Devlin would be fine too, but not convinced he's any better than O'Connor and I think we should aiming a large chunk of our budget on a striker and replacing McGinn.

Reckon striker has to be our number one priority this summer. With Stockley sent off again, I don't think we can afford to keep him, and obviously Storey has to go because he shite at football. Get rid of two and take in one. We're looking for someone that can keep Rooney on the bench I wid think, which would take a bit of doing. Need to keep the huns down where they belong and I think a good striker could do that. Obviously the McGinn replacement is a pretty big deal, but hopefully we'll have some cash (wages) to spend. Perhaps Christie on a permanent is the way to go.

Well done the dons indeed. Should give them a bit of confidence for the final too. Hopefully they get a win on Sunday to take us to 76 points - that'd beat our tally fae a couple of seasons back, which would be thoroughly deserved. Interesting tonight that we really only had Stockley that could come off the bench that has any dons' experience. And he gets sent off again of course, the useless fuck. That's going to be an issue for us in a couple of weeks. Hopefully Pawlett or Jack will make the bench at least.

^^^This. The question is, do we view Considine as a centre back or a left back? I suppose the good thing is that McInnes can have a scout about in the summer for both a centre back and a full back, knowing that if he can only find one or the other we can move Considine across. I'd like to see O'Connor given the right centre back position permanently and just let Taylor go. I think we should keep it lean at the back and just replace Taylor with one of the above (left or centre back), with Reynolds as back up and perhaps Harvie as fullback cover if he's good enough.
