I thought Maguire did well when he came on and seemed to be on the end of a lot of balls. Finishing let him down but at least he was willing to have a few pops.
Getting close ain't it!
Gonna be a busy couple days at work though and after a bit of a mental weekend, I'm not sure 4 days on the batter is really what my body needs at this precise moment....
Does rugby actually hack up the park THAT much more than football or does it just mean the groundsmen will be really busy all the time?
I'm assuming rugby matches are played on the same stadiums every 2nd weekend?
The Lovell thing was all wrong from the start and I really question his mentality.
If I remember correctly he was persuaded by JC to join us over a move down South. Then he left the pre-season training for some mystery reason (his brother's death was banded about by some as the reason) and then he took a spell off to sort his head out.
If that was why then I can sympathise with the guy but I'd be surprised if any other employer would let you away with that amount of time off before asking you to get your shit together and get back to work.
Now he's putting in half arsed performances because he's not getting picked whereas anyone wanting into the team on Saturday should be busting a gut when they get 10 minutes at the end of a game to win the manager over.
Bin asap imo.
Just takes a while to do that though especially when there's quote boxes, times, dates and usernames to sort out.
Maybe a choice of 'quote last post' and 'quote all' buttons?
Got to be another feather in the cap for a Community Stadium and a nail in the Pittodrie coffin. Although joint training facilities would be a plus.
A couple things worth noting though:
The word 'rugger' is gay.
The word 'todders' is gay.
The phrase 'Rugby at Pittodrie' is only slightly less limp wristed.
Number 2 cracked me up when I first read it.
"Get off my train!!"
Brandon Flowers looks more like a girl every time I see him and no amount of ridiculous facial hair will hide that fact.
He looks like Jamie Rednapp's sister.
And when all else fails....
It would be nice to see one of our strikers create their own chances (picking up the ball in midfield and running at people/shooting from outside the box) or score from a set piece (which seems to be left to the job of our defenders).
