  1. How about if we react by pushing the fat cunt down a set of stairs?
  2. A lot of people seem to be saying the next 2 games we must pick up 6 points. Of course it would be nice but I'm not going to lose sleep, top myself or having knee jerk reactions baying for blood if we don't. Killie are never a push over and 'Well seem to be doing good under McGhee so I'm more inclined to think 4 points would be decent, 6 points would be excellent. If you look at the games after the Huns we've got Gretna, St Mirren, Caley and Falkirk. That would be the ones I'd bank on picking up 3 points and those games could easily see us going on a nice little run. I'd say United and 'Well (the 2 above us) would be lucky if they've got that good a fixture list after Xmas and I fully expect us to be up there even if we don't pick up 6 points in the next 2 games. :sensibleheedsmilieon:
  3. I don't subscribe to the "Scottish game is played at 100 miles per hour" theory any more. Sure if you watch the Italian Leagues there's a lot more build up play from the back whereas we tend to lump it up the park. But if you pull out any of your old Dons tapes or watch some footage from Youtube/DVDs those games were played at 100 miles per hour! Let's face it, there's been a huge influx of foreign players who have came into our league over the years who have cut it and if foreigners really struggled with our pacey game then our national team would be putting teams to the sword all over the globe. If you're technically good enough to kill the ball dead every time then I'd say you're going to be good enough to adjust to the pace of the SPL. As Bobby says, Touzani will only get used to it by playing more games.
  4. That report is nothing short of a disgrace and that fat fuck of a man can suck my middle one. Our average gate hasn't been much above that for the season, then you can deduct the number of people from the Central Belt who would have returned the day before and not fancied another long trip after Madrid. Then you'll have people with wives or girlfriends who might not have been too impressed with them arriving home then setting out the next day to the football (granted that's a poor excuse ) before disappearing to work the next day. Then you'll have people who broke the bank to get to Madrid to support the team. The gate was always going to suffer and if you add the number of season ticket holders to away fans then I'll wager you'll come very close to the people there. Not hard to understand and really unfair of the cunt to start throwing names about when he's just as quick to have a pop at the club. On a final note, I'm not one to moan about the manager but maybe there's here's your answer: Remind me, how many other games have been entertaining and exciting?
  5. Is it is half a million per season for tranfer fees alone it will be. Unless that figure include the player's wages they're looking to bring in?
  6. Sounds good but I wonder how that compares to any other season as "part of it was put back in this season and the rest will be available for his use over the next three years". Possibly not the smartest move telling people how much is in the kitty though. Hart, Langfield, Clark, Nicholson, Zander and Lee Miller all now know they may get a slice of that along with any clubs we're looking to nab players from.
  7. Aye but the stretch marks round your mouth will need more attention from the Nivea.
  8. Well our group of around 12 all came away with all their possesions in tact and we were drinking in some real seedy joints, along with the tourist traps and using the Metro until stupid o'clock every night. Maybe just lucky I guess? Where's the :don'tknowsmilie: ?
  9. I doubt very much he's being kept down by his manager and being a cocky bastard isn't something you can learn. Confidence is a personal trait that you're more or less born with, or grow up with, you don't suddenly become one at say 27 years of age. JC and Brewster have both said he's over critical of himself and I'll wager no amount of coaxing or bumming up would have convinced Hart that he didn't screw up in Madrid for the first goal. Let's not get blinkered here; Micheal Hart has pace, he's decent in the air, has quick feet for getting by a man but he offers absolutely nothing going forward. I'd even go as far as to say Foster is twice the player Hart is once he crosses the halfway line as he's found the net on occasion and must have a few assists to his name. That's the reason Hart doesn't get a sniff at International level because you also need your defenders to offer something up front at set pieces or on the break. Zander offers this and there's no doubt in my mind he'll pick up caps as he matures. If you could combine Hart's defending with Foster's attacking sense then you'd have someone picking up caps but then you'd also have a player who probably wouldn't be at the club or snapped up by the O.F.
  10. Ach that's life. If you have a good relationship with someone you can quite easily be more critical of them. Let's not forget that JC speaks Hart up plenty in the papers and it sounds like Brewster is saying the same thing as JC in a different sort of way: "Micheal, you're better than that!"
  11. 4) What goes on in Madrid, stays in Madrid.
  12. Agree on Maguire, thought he got on the end of a lot of things and also linked up well with those around him. Also willing to have a pop but maybe needs a bit more composure as half his efforts ended up in the stand. Still, it's encouraging signs.
  13. Today's display was surely a team deserving of another season in Europe, but it's been well overdue and perhaps bordering on having to play catch-up. But will the Madrid game be the turning point of our season? Perhaps after a 2-0 loss we shouldn't be quite so proud of our team but by no means did we roll over and die in Spain and I honestly believe the team should have taken a lot from that game mentally. There's also a slow realisation that our Eurotrips this season are all but over, bar a bit of mathematics and the game vs Copenhagen. Today against Hibs the players seemed to me to have a collective belief about them and that they could take Hibs from the off. Jesus, I even lost count how many times Chris Clark took on a man.... and beat him! So have the players realised what they'll be missing next season and decided to get their fingers out? Or are injuries forcing some of the underperformers out and giving Touzani, Maguire & Byrne a decent run together? Or am I jumping the gun and reading too much into one good display and it'll be business as usual next weekend?
  14. The Special One. Just to stick it up the English.
  15. Start as you mean to go on.... When you off to Barca Ms 'Zig?
  16. Not only that. I heard there are people in that queue eating prawn sandwiches.
  17. 24 hours from now I'll be taking the airplane stairs 2 at a time. I'm getting affa excited! ;D
  18. Well if you ask nicely I'll go pick some up tomorrow and stick them on Ebay for you to 'Buy It Now'.
  19. Same here Big Al. Tonight I'll be getting my shit together, working from home tomorrow morning then hoping on the express train after lunch. I'm glad I'm not heading to Madrid today as I'm still feeling rough after the weekend!
  20. Well, well, well. Should I be awaiting apologies from each and everyone of the greeting faced folk who demanded an apology for "getting their hopes up and then letting them down" by having the opinion, that I thought we'd end up getting more tickets. Should I fuck. Good news though.
  21. *goes to change his Z-List Celebrity Deaths choices...
