EDIT: If Paton keeps going the way he is going shouldn't be too long before he is involved also.
I guess it's easy to say "if we had kept those players we'd have a cracknig team now" but in relevance we wouldn't have afforded to sign the good players and keep their replacements.
Clark wasn't much cop as a centre midfielder in a 4-4-2. However I think he'd be perfect as 'the worker' in a 4-3-3. Clark was brilliant at harrying the opposition and winning the ball, the problem was he was too scared to do anything with it afterwards because the fans got on his back. I'd love to still have him here.
Like? I'll give you Young but he was hardly the worst offender. Put in a shift in a position where I can never recall seeing him play before and kept his head up and never hid.
Speaking of cunts. The bloke that sits in the back row of the South Stand in section W and has a cock-a-doodle-do message tone is a twat. We don't need supporters like you.
Your constant complaining during the JC regime and the gloating that came along with his dismissal was too much for most on here to take but last night you got the team you deserve, it's just a shame the rest of us follow the same team.
Two guys from my work were at the very back of the queue to get in. Didn't hear that it was 1-0 and thoguht for a while we were 1-0 up. Would have loved to have seen them if the game finished that way!
Sorry I should have been a bit clearer. I was referring to Seve playing instead of Duff. Duff caused so much panic with misplaced passes and not following the man running past him. I've already said once tonight that hindsight is a wonderful thing but really we probably would have looked more confident with Crawford at right back tonight.
