  1. First goal was a definite foul on Hartley; albeit he didn't seem to protest?! Second goal was definite Clangers fuck up, and he was a total nervous wreck after that, fuelled by arabs singing one Jamie Langfield Our goal by Josh had me optimistic for about 5 mins before we resorted to being very disjointed again. Their third - well taken goal. Bottom line was we didn't deserve to win the game
  2. The 'Kindle' thread on here reminded me I'd mentioned it in this book thread, so a belated thanks alot for your reply tlg!
  3. In/Oot: Oot Pre-Match: Bed, up at 1145 for shower/change into red &white jammies! Match: couch / shout at TV Post-Match: nae decided; mood/result dependent! (Alcohol will be involved!) Prediction: score draw, though would love to wipe the arrogant smile of the jambos I know faces! Footnote: Wish AFC could flood toilets at away end wi water tomorrow to replicate conditions at Tynecastle in December; which damaged my favourite red boots, and fecked the bottom of a new pair of jeans Never in a million years though, as they didn't even acknowledge my polite email to them regarding the atrocious facilities at the time.
  4. Sounded cracking game fae listening to online manc, last 25+ mins were nailbiting, and tachycardic!! Crowd (of only just over 7K as repeated by BBC several times and said 19 to 22 Hamilton fans!) sounded vocal at times. I haven't read any JIT, so only going by what I listened too.
  5. Trying to stay optimistic too Ajja! Would soooooo love to burst the jambos bubble on Sat! x
  6. Very sad news. Too young to die. Never knew Stuartini personally, but remember him as a very witty and knowledgable poster. Stand Free x
  7. Still be going, but nae a happy sheep that it's now an early KO
  8. On a serious note, ... Tyrant, it was his shin area! If it was a severed artery as reported, then ?? his anterior tibial artery I know of at least one knowledgable gentleman on this subject on here who can confirm or correct me, and give much better diagnosis/prognosis! So don't quote me! My partially educated guess may be wrong!
  9. Like several other posters on here, I concur
  10. Can't blame him?!, ..... surely wanting our player(s) to potentially avoid getting injured plus avoid playing too many games applies to all teams? Looking closer to home, the last thing we need right now is for Jack, or Maguire, to be injured in International games. Should Brown withdraw them from their respective squads? (Imo, no) We, and other teams, may not have the CL to play in however neither do we the money* nor depth of squad* Smith has (despite them pleading poverty!) (* = Lennon)
  11. Congratulations Ryan On a side note, I noticed that Jamie Ness has pulled out of the squad. A hun on the Scottish National Team facebook link claims "Ness has been pulled out by Smith as McCulloch is injured and we're struggling for cover in midfield"
  12. In/Oot : Oot Pre-match : Bed, recovering fae "girls" night oot. Match : Horizontal on couch (wearing red & white jammies), watching on TV, until first contentious decision which will nae doubt make me sit up to rant! Post-match: Tbc Prediction : Ajja's Par's fan employees still have a job!
  13. Congratulations to Maguire on his first, of which is sure to be many, call up to the Scotland team
  14. Must take these earplugs out now Seriously though, it was like a fuckin morgue after first goal!
  15. I was in South Stand, and I can assure you there was nae noise to be heard between first/second and third goal..... Well apart fae my friend telling me to shut the fuck up, as nae wonder folk weren't singing as we were pish playing a 5-4-1/5-3-2
  16. You are fortunate you have exams Gav! Stand Free x
  17. Yes, we travelled in our thousands. Sang in the bus, train, car, pub.... WTF happened after the first goal?! FFS, get behind the team and fucking sing! Whether Pa Broon playing 5-4-1, 5-3-2 or 9-1, we are still Aberdeen. Known for our away support, barmy army, 12th man. Where the fuck was that today? Majority just sat there mute
  18. Contact any of the Globe Reds, re above ticket available in South Stand, or PM me. Will be in Clockwork, 5 mins from Hampden, from 11am until at least 2pm. Stand Free!
  19. However, I remember the last line to your lyrics MBT, and hope it doesn't refer to Maguire!
  20. As the title says one ticket available for tomorrow in the South Stand, due to unforeseen circumstances. PM me if you're interested. We will be in Clockwork from 11am, 5 minutes from Hampden.
  21. In/Oot: In Pre-match : 0740 taxi then 0806 train fae Fife, then 0915 jager train fae Waverley with fellow Globe Reds, then Clockwork apparently. Match: South Stand somewhere Post-match: Wherever the mood takes us! Prediction: Optimistic
  22. Have we to confirm same choices, and any transfers during "window" now?
