  1. Read on Inverness Reds link that all references to huns fc have been removed from SFL website in the last hour, including the Ramsden Cup game v Brechin. WTF is happening now?!
  2. Mine will be on my kindle too, thankfully! My wee Sis and I got Mum a kindle touch for her 65th birthday last week, .. the first books she downloaded were the 50 Shades trilogy
  3. Last August 'A Gala Evening with Sir Alex Ferguson' was held in Dunfermline with all proceeds to the Mary Leishman Foundation (Charity number SC040807 www.maryleishmanfoundation.com). Fergie has donated 500 double DVD's of the event to the charity, and they are available for £10 each (£12 including P&P) Anyone interested should contact Ele Segerius at segerius@talktalk.net I became aware of the DVD's when I met Ele at the opening of Alzheimer Scotland Fife Dementia Resource Centre, who the Mary Leishman Foundation had donated money to for furniture for a room where people with dementia and/or their carers can speak with staff when they are distressed/need privacy.

  5. Ha ha! Thanks for the reminder!!
  6. I'm resisting the hype of Fifty Shades, ...... but only for 6 months! I intend taking Mr Grey to Tenerife with me in January
  7. Interesting, albeit confusing after several beers!, opening post on DAFC.net thread 'Ticketus own Sevco'. Someone more computer literate will be able to add link!
  8. Definitely there was a plan to get them into Div1. Stewart Gilmour's statement is an utter disgrace, especially when you compare it to other statements he has made on the newco situation. Fucking hypocrite! Votes no to newco in SPL, then slates SPL chairmen for the damage they have done to Scottish football! I agree re surely the SPL aren't going to be that stupid, ...however so far we have St Mirren and ICT's arse's collapsing.
  9. Frankie Boyle - Live in a Scottish town in the middle of nowhere? Book an A-level exam in Irish History because you're about to get a fucking crashcourse.
  10. Agree. If it was any other team in the SPL, apart from one of the bigot brothers, this would have been the punishment.
  11. In or Oot: In Pre-Matcher: Taxi, train, pub in Edinburgh, bus then pub in weegieland Match: North Stand Post Matcher: Globe Prediction: Aberdeen 2-1 Hibs
  12. The government caused the panic, whilst blaming the unions, by whatever Minister it was telling people to fill their tanks up (to 2/3) and fill cans up to store in their garage. Yes Joe Public reacted, as it wasn't widely reported that there was no definite date decided and that at least 7 days notice would have to be given for a strike. This story was then headline on all news programmes, detracting from paying to have dinner (succulent lamb?!) with Call Me Dave, "granny tax", the hot pastries/pies VAT, stamps, and not forgetting the new NHS Act in Engerland. Similar to what baggy89 said, I need to use my car for my job. I'm an NHS essential service provider, working in the community, and would be classed as a priority fuel user. Locally many petrol stations were reported to be closed, those open had huge queues. I went for petrol today as was down to under 1/4 tank, and sat for 20 mins in Q's (how much petrol being wasted by everyone in Q's?!). I so wanted to shout out "I'm not panic buying!, there is no strike confirmed and we will get 7 days notice!" As I was in uniform, I restrained myself!
  13. Voted to keep; Osbourne - who is already staying anyway McArdle - has improved alot this season Langfield - as number 2 keeper Prior to his injury would have kept Folly too WTF re 3 votes to date for Mackie? It's not April Fool's day until Sunday!
  14. In/oot: In prematcher: Roseburn match: Upper Roseburn Stand somewhere Postmatcher: AFC Roadshow Prediction: 3-1
  15. Kick off time now been changed to 12.15pm Still be there though!
  16. At a colleagues retirement party last night, and 3 times people said to me along the lines of... when I heard Aberdeen fan arrested in Fife, I thought of you!
  17. In/Oot: IN Prematcher: Globe Match: Where Globe Reds have tickets Postmatcher: Globe Prediction: Jute not to stay until full time
  18. Not been on here for a wee while, loving the alternative to "boo"!!
  19. In/Oot: Oot Pre-match: work Match: ESPN (red & white jammies, as sheep jammies worn at hun defeat!) Post-match: Bed Prediction: 1-2
  20. The displays at Pittodrie they organised were amazing, 'Stand Free', 'One Love' etc. I've held up my wee bit paper, waved a wee plastic red or white flag left at my seat etc several times. Displays like these were very well planned out, and organised. I don't know if I've met Mezz or not, (have had a beer or 3 with a few "ultras" in the Broadhill, Munich and even at T in the Park!) I certainly don't tar all Red Ultra's with the same brush, however I do agree with Tyrant that I have experienced the majority of them acting like complete tits... I refer to a game at Tannadice, in the Shed, flags getting waved during the game, politely (initially!) asked them to stop, ... verbally abused in retort. Repeat aforementioned x 2 or 3, then I telt them I'd stick their flags where the sun wouldn't shine if they waved them during play again. That then apparently makes you anti-ultras! Loved the displays, but don't wave flags in front of me when I'm watching the game!!
  21. At Edinburgh Fringe couple of weeks ago I went to see Sarah Millican, Daniel Sloss and Jimeoin.....Definite serotonin boost at them all! The free shows went to see I rated from fcuking awful, to laughed a couple of times! ... Special mentions to lassie in The Globe, show called something like sex and drugs and rock and roll, ..... fcuking awful category!, (stayed 5 mins at most, ... as long just to see if she got any funnier, ... she didn't!) ... and Alan Sharp "Hate it with me" at the Banshee Labyrinth just down fae the Globe, ... he was in laughed a couple of times category! He was so disappointing though, as expected cynical, Mr Grumpy humour. Maybe having Jute and Chimp as mates I'm used to much better cynical humour!!
  22. In/oot: oot Prematcher: Cafe Andaluz Match: Sarah Millican, then oot in Edinburgh Postmatcher: Still oot in Edinburgh Prediction: Aberdeen 2-0 TMSTID
