Do you have a phobia? I fucking hate snakes. I've been here 25 years and will never lose that fear I have for them. Last week I heard a bunch of birds going off outside. I went out for a look and saw a large Carpet Snake on my roof. The birds were swooping at the snake, which was rightfully trying to get away from them. Only thing was that the fucking thing got into my roof... I've not seen it since then, but everytime I go outside I look like I'm having a fit as I try to get as far away as I can from any hiding places. Last year I had another Carpet Snake in my garage... It took me weeks to go out the back garden.

I've been watching The Joy Of Painting with Bob Ross. It's on for half an hour on the telly each day and It's a must for me. Not that I want to learn how to paint, I just like the chilled nature of Bob.

This is a shame to hear. It seems to be the way of the world now. I used to look forward to pay day so I could go out and get my NME, Melody Maker and Sounds. Select was another great mag from the 90's that finished up. I also remember when Q first started. I bought it for a while, but It kind of went away from the music that I like. I'm more a Uncut or Classic Rock reader now.

We don't have to wear masks here yet.

Keith Richards riff at the start of this song is class. The latter riff half way through the song is top-notch Mick Taylor. The Stones were never the same after Taylor left.

I see that Peter Green died yesterday. A bad trip on LSD when he was only in his early 20's fucked him up for a long time. A bit like Syd Barrett. He gave away all his money and left music for years. I was only reading at the start of the year that there was talk of him going on tour again. ?

The home one would look a lot better without that collar.

I put up a small shed out my back garden yesterday. We have had a fair bit of welcome rain the past few months, so the walkways and concrete around my garden need to be washed down with the power washer. I also like to restore old wooden furniture and have a silky oak chair that I want to work on.

I had to run out and get some milk and bread last night. All the pubs were packed full and in the shopping centres, people were just going around like fuck all was happening. It was really frustrating to see. They closed Bondi beach in Sydney today as the place was packed out yesterday. If people here don't pull their heads out their arses Australia is fucked.
