I can't for the life of me understand why Cameron and Milliband are scampering to the right because of these guys. The party is essentially one semi presentable business man who desperately tries to portray himself as an everyman with scores of nut jobs behind him. Their policies will be widely rejected and exposed as nonsense when put under any scrutiny and every week we discover another racist bigot being outed with a ukip rosette on them. By scurrying to the right and engaging them the legitimise their arguments and party. On the up side while Farage's stunt will have boosted his popularity down south it emphasises the difference between the political mainstream north and south of the border which the expected ukip win in next years European elections will only further demonstrate which should boost the yes vote come September

Well I finally got round to watching the film. Quite frankly the way those people were treated was a disgrace, and I didn't quite appreciate the level of destruction to the dune system that was carried out. Whether you agree with the course or not the methods and language used to attack these people who had committed the crime of wanting to live in in their own houses was outrageous. Trump is really an ignorant egotistical boorish bully and anyone with an ounce of class and empathy could have handled this situation a whole lot better. I'll be interested to see on ten years time how many folk are travelling the world to play this course and to see the impact on the local economy. Scotland has countless world class courses with far greater history which surely will be greater draws.

U20s finished their season today with a 3-2 win at Inverness. They finish in 2nd place as top scorers with 77 goals from 28 games a defensive record bettered only by Celtic. Great show from the loons and hopefully they will have a chance to get some recognition at the Hearts game. Now just to get some of this attacking verve into the first team

Sadly I'm pretty sure if Celtic win the cup then the runners up get the UEFA place. Also given our record v Well, ICT, County and Celtic this season I wouldn't be expecting much more than a handful of points. Anyway United are shite and will be missing a good few players so no reason why we can't win on Sat, if not strangely there are far more attractive games in the bottom six and if we get on a winning run may well mean better crowds than we would have got for a visit of ICT or StJ.
