Only found one near the ground when we were there for the the preseason game. The Plough Inn but pretty small place.
There are a couple on the High Street about 10 to 15 mins walk from the ground but not been in any of them to say what they are like. Think one may be called the Masons Arms but not sure.
In the Record article they go on about their fans getting an award and that should be taken into consideration for the fine. Fact that when they were given the award their fans were singing their poisonous filth is completely ignored.
Would still rather a left back or a creative mid than another centre half who will not be fit until February at the earliest. Need to put the sentiment to the side here. We have plenty of cover at centre half.
Think the £10 in was a one off in the run up to Christmas.
Agree that discounting one off games probably does nothing to attract people back long term but what I would argue is that reducing prices permanently might get enough fans back to make up the loss in income. At the moment prices being charged are driving fans away not attracting them.
Do not get me wrong a fully fit Anderson would be an asset to the club however as he has only managed 54 games in the 4 years he has been away from us I would guess it is a pretty fair bet that he will never be fully fit.
Will be interesting to see how Real approach this. Playing some decent football of late but when ever they have tried that against Barca recently they have got humped. Will they revert to trying to kick the fuck out of Barca or will Jose stick with playing they way thet have in the last month or so.
