In 2016 we have only won 13 out of 30 competitive games including Europe and the cups. Not a particularly good record and not one I would expect a squad like ours to produce. As Manc has said squad has looked complacent for a while now as certain players know they will be picked no matter their form if they are fit. Manager needs to shake things up and get them focused again or this could end up being a long season.

This. Also cannot see other teams in the group defending as poorly. Thought first half we were far to pedestrian although this may have been down to the heat. Better in second half especially when they went down to 10. Maltese were not happy with the ref about the sending off or for playing on when they had a man down in build up to our second. Not sure we would have won so easily if it stayed at 11 a side. Still was enjoyable to us score 5 in the sun.

Woeful first half with McInnes clearly shitting the bed. Scored completely against the run of play and were lucky to only be 2-1 down at half time. Bit better in second half but not sure if that was because they were cruising by then. Looked a penalty to me but others suggesting it was not. Sad thing is I fully expected us to get beat so I have to question my sanity for actually turning up to watch this pish.

In a moment of weakness I stupidly bought a ticket for this. Have a horrible feeling I will be regretting it come half 4 tomorrow. McInness would be off his head to play an injured Jack tomorrow and can only hope this is mind games as Rico says. With Taylor likely to start I cannot see the unwashed not scoring at least a couple. Celtic going through is a disaster for Scottish football with them getting at least £20m extra from the group phase. Will kill any chance of us having a competitive league. Rules need to be changed around the prize money from Europe. I would like to see half the money going to the league to be distributed among the other clubs. After all without the national leagues there would be no champion.

Cracking Olympic football final between Brazil and Germany on just now. 1-0 Brazil at the moment. Germany have hit the bar 3 times and keeper made a great save.

Last minute winner for the tribute act.

Good free kick from McGinn and horrible mistake from Thistle defender to let Storey in should have us in easy street at 2-0 however McIness decided to again try and manage the game out by brining on Taylor and moving OConnor into midfield. This allowed Thistle back into the game and in the end we ended up hanging on. Good to get a win but should have been more convincing than it was.

Hopefully two up top today as we have looked toothless with just Stockley in first two league games. Not been convinced by Stockley so far so would like to see us go with Rooney Storey as front 2. At the back I would hope we continue with Reynolds and OConnor as Taylor looked like an accident waiting to happen again last week. In Archies Y Town for a couple of beers. 2-0 Rooney and McGinn.
