I hate these fucking non-story articles that just fill pages and tell you absolutely sweet fucking fuck all about fuck all.
It's as though they've got a couple of hundred generic phrases, they pull them out of a hat, string them together, add in a couple of current player names and voila, an article.
"Manager Jimmy Calderwood today said he hopes to have Jamie Smith and Sone Aluko in time for Saturday's game against Inverness
Could just as easily, with the addition of a few random phrases and words in the hat, become
Manager Jimmy Calderwood today said He's joining the NAZI Party with Adolph Hitler and Hermann Goerring in time for 1939's upcoming war against The British
Its just an extension of the tombola at Pittodrie

Tell yi what tho, If we get 3 point against Caley, the tarts game might be the biggest of the season. Despite thier current situation, (Ithink there is another thread about it somewhere), they are playing well, and thier confidence will be up. I can see it being a tasty game.
Completely agree. I just hope we can get a result against Caley to put ourselves in that position!

I think Miller has been our best player so far this season.
The biggest disappointment for me is Maguire, I was hoping he'd push harder for a starting place. He doesn't appear to have progressed much technically or physically.
i'd agree with that. Though Aluko and Kerr do deserve a mention. I'm hoping to be saying the same thing about MacDonald by the end of the season as well and I'm confident he won't disappoint. Definitely Nicholson's replacement. I'm surprised Maguire didn't bulk up over the summer or do anything to try and push on, as I've said before, shows a clear lack of professionalism from him. Disappointing.

What was that celebration about for his first goal?!?!

We played really well, solid enough defensively, just could have done with a knocking a few more in, we dominated enough to do that.
I'm just wondering when it was we went to one up front?
Mackie could have done with coming off, he ran his balls off, touch of a fucking elephant at times though.
Maguire was stinking, ran the ball out at least twice, bloody annoying.
So it was pretty much what I could work out from the radio then. They said Mackie played well but his "shooting was something to be desired for" or something along those lines. Quite amusing as obviously I agreed with them. His shot that made the corner flag was a good chance to make it 3-0 or was it not as clear cut? I doubt the highlights will show most of these which is why I'm asking
People on MAD are saying it was JdV best game in a red shirt or had a very good game? I do hope he gets a run in the side and stays injury free as he clearly has the skills, just needs a bit of time in the team and by all accounts seems to have shed a few pounds to give him some "pace"

Our goal defense let you down there buddy.
But at least we've got a 4 and 0 home success rate at the moment
So what was the game like anyway?

Did amuse me in his post match interview when asked about lovell scoring, JC replies, did he? I didn't see.

I think it was a white umbro away one from 95. Not too sure like cost all that is basically left is the shirt. All the felt has peeled off

that site went doon the tubes with the latest TV deal.
Cheers, shame that really!

Is this game going to be online? I remember Falkirk always used to be signed up to this internet football thing who streamed their games. I've checked a couple of sites that I know and can't find it.

According to the BBC gossip column:
Aberdeen have hit Kilmarnock with a £4,000 hotel bill over the Dons' wasted journey to Ayrshire for last weekend's SPL fixture which was postponed despite undersoil heating at Rugby Park. (Daily Record)
Sounds fair enough!

Fans in claim for wasted Killie trip
Fans paid £640 for bus

A GROUP of Dons fans today demanded Kilmarnock FC compensate them for the cost of their wasted return trip to Ayrshire.
Aberdeen’s SPL clash was called off just after 10am on Saturday due to a frozen pitch.
The SPL are investigating why the Rugby Park undersoil heating system – part of the criteria for members of the league – failed to save the game from being called off.
Members of the Aberdeen-based Northern Lights AFC Supporters’ Club had already begun their bus journey south by the time the pitch was inspected. They were in Glasgow when the news came through.
Club chairman Neil McDougall wants Killie to cough up the £640 it cost them for what he described as a “wasted journeyâ€.
“We are furious at the way we have been treated,†said McDougall.
“There is a financial crisis, and we are coming up to Christmas, so fans can’t afford to throw money away like this.
“Kilmarnock should be made to pay that because there is no way SPL games should be called off because of a frozen pitch nowadays.
“We are also upset that they waited until 10am to inspect the pitch.
“Our bus left Aberdeen at 7.30am because we always make allowances for fans needing time to go somewhere for lunch.â€
Dons managing director Duncan Fraser expressed sympathy for the Northern Lights members and all of their supporters who were left frustrated and out of pocket.
Fraser promised Aberdeen will do all they can to ensure they get some form of compensation, even if it means having to pay it themselves.
“We are also looking at ways of helping fans who plan to go to Kilmarnock when the game is rearranged,†he said.
The game is now likely to go ahead on January 14, with the Dons dismissing a suggestion from Kilmarnock to play it on Wednesday.
Fraser is pushing the SPL to hold a full inquiry this week and wants earlier inspections – preferably on a Friday night.
He said: “We want reassurances that this will be the last time Aberdeen supporters are treated in this manner.
“There were concerns on Friday, so a decision could have been made then.â€
Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnson was unavailable to comment today, but had said earlier: “We don’t know the reason for it, but the pitch was frozen.
“I have no idea what happened, but we will get to the bottom of it.â€

Motherwell with a 30 yarder from Foster.
And what a goal that was! As has been said, Killie better do something to benefit those who had started to travel down to the game!

How can Orcs have names anyway?
-
I've been accused of this too Jager, but I don't see how I could be classed as a bigot, as I just hate them all
-
Vince Hawks?
.......no.

I have never once heard of Aluko being the 'new Jess'.
Probably got it from MAD as there was a thread asking who would you rather have, Jess, Aluko or Zero I think it was.

Get a ladder, lay it on his desk, and put a note on it saying 'guess who hates these?'
Think he should be far less subtle and just put that video as his screen saver

Very true but when Cannavaro arrives on loan from Kaunas to replace him, you'll be eating your words.
I'd be surprised if either of the Old Firm didn't have a sniff.
Well they are a club with Champions league pedegree! Didn't they win it last season....
I can see the Huns moreso considering Weir will surely be pushing his zimmer frame sooner rather than later.

Gary Mackay is his agent, bit of fashing going on.
No long ago it was Wolves sniffing about him, now it's Man U and Chelski? Not bloody likely.
Bet he has a trial at Fulham soon.
Why not Plymouth
Agreed though, good bit of baiting by Gary Mackay! I hope he goes go down south rather than another SPL club though. Weren't the huns rumoured to be interested in him? If/when he goes in Jan, LSC will be considerably weaker

Chelsea and Manchester United have joined the race to sign Hearts captain Christophe Berra. Fulham are also keen. (Sunday Times)

No much of that in Holland mate.
Luckily for me i've got 4 countries to choose from One of them is bound to have some high ground
-
What bit of Aberdeen are you from?
I know I know, but as a better person than any hun, I think its my right to take the moral high ground
-
I'd find that impossible since there were a hundred thousand cunts in Manchester. So obviously the police couldn't arrest them all, but I think it was all to see that Aberdeen and Bolton fans got jumped! Stab him with a broken bottle, as PL said, why waste a good biro You can never win an argument with a Hun unless they are not from Glasgow, then just ask them what area of Glasgow they are from. I then always tell them their opinion isn't valid because of this very reason

Wouldn't mind Porter on top of that. Don't really want Smith because I think he's a cunt. A reserve keeper from league 2 would be better than Bossu, in fact, I would be better than Bossu. Fills me with fear that he's closing in on fitness.
