  1. Was thinking about that just after the last game. If he went, on his current form, I wouldnt shed a tear. I can't even remember the last decent game he had? Around Christmas last year? Hopefully McGhee can get another striker in that a)he might enjoy playing alongside and b) provide competition to allow him to be dropped and give him a kick up the arse.
  2. My thoughts exactly, at least they'll be able to push the budget out for morning rolls, doublers? So long Bossu, you were shite.
  3. Was thinking the same thing. Sounds like there are a few positives to take from the game (albeit not in the striking dept). Its never a bad thing have some good competition for places and hopefully its a partnership that will continue its decent start. How did Grassi play?
  4. Man utd - arsenal was quite a good watch, plenty of dodgy tackles and dubious decisions. United were very lucky to get the win, but oh well
  5. Do i take it that it was a bore draw? Wasn't able to listen to the game and not been on the net all day.
  6. Surely Romanov can't be that stupid again. Although does he not have that ex-chelsea manager at Swinecastle? Or is that at one of his other clubs?
  7. Everytime I seem to post it seems to take a while for the website to realise I've posted something. Not sure if this is a server issue your side or my side though
  8. If true, that would be hilarious
  9. I hope we don't sign the former and I doubt we'd sign the latter. Didn't he sign a new deal before he got injured last season? I heard Barry Nicholson had a double leg break on the weekend.
  10. Read two books so far this summer, Le Carre's A Most Wanted Man, quite enjoyable and obviously quite relevant to today's politics, and Yiddish Policeman's Union by Michael Chabon, again very interesting and recommend it Just starting The White Tiger by Arabind Adiga.
  11. According to BBC sport, Bamba himself has claimed to have had interest from the dirty scousers Edit: 2-1 HIVs now, Riordon
  12. Aye was away to post that too
  13. According to the radio, Zander and McDonald are both out for today.
  14. Falkirk one up against HIVs.
  15. Sad times at our club indeed. But to be honest, he's a former premier league player, I would have thought wages were always going to be a stumbling block. Anywho: Shame he won't be involved today though. But welcome aboard the good ship Grassi!
  16. I see Csaba Laszlo is stalling on signing a new contract Nothing like a bit of Jambo uncertainty to start the day
  17. Lets be honest ajja, he can't be any worse than whats already in the first team, i certainly agree with mini, if you're good enough you're old enough. I hope he gets a run out soon. Fingers crossed he actually has a backbone.
  18. Busy at work eh sharpie
  19. Is that what he said in the pre match conference this afternoon? Any mention of the other guy?
  20. I'd agree with Ptayles, Maguire definitely needs to be dropped, but thats the problem with our squad being so threadbare, we don't really have anyone that can step up to the plate. The same goes for Miller. But I would like to see Crawford tried out.
  21. Good on them, I hope the club use it wisely!
  22. Well hopefully McGhee whittles them out, because there's no point in having players like that at the club. They need rockets up their arses to get them out of this apparent comfort zone complex they seem to be harbouring.
  23. I just don't think he's consistent enough. I've always thought he was a good player and certainly worthy to play for United, just not been convinced. I do agree though, they are crying out for a creative midfielder ala Scholes.
  24. I'm hoping him saying that they are doing ok means that he's not giving too much away. We need some more signings to come off, especially in defence.
