  1. Completely. The standard of football has increased considerably over the past couple of seasons and teams that have invested heavily in developement (FC Twente and AZ as an example) have seen results improve on the pitch too. A lot of teams are capable of getting results against the "big 3" now and it's already been quite an exciting season so far. AS GD says, a playoff system for the final champions league spot, albeit qualifying spot, would be quite interesting. Though both the two ugly cunts would not allow it to happen as they would view it as their right having finished higher in the league.

    Films

I thought it was a decent film, that scene and when the guy comes out of the cave slowly just banging the baseball bat were my favourites
  3. Possibly, but I think I can see Bloo_toon's reasoning. Teams may actually try to play football because the fear of relegation has been taken away. But then again, you run the risk of come Jan/Feb, when it is clear they are not going to win the league, people stop going etc.... Personally, I think we need two leagues in Scotland, much like they have it in Holland. An 18 team league with 2 being relegated (the second being decided via a play off). I don't know why I'm surprised by today's statement, it is what we should expect from these money driven scum bags.
  4. Don't let facts get in the way of his argument!
  5. The simple matter is, as has already been said, we simply can't afford to get rid of him. For Aberdeen to work again, we need a year zero, start from the beginning, but that's as likely as me winning the euro millions. I am praying that mark Mcghee sees the problems and addresses them in january. But i'm increasingly losing patience and faith in him. We just have to hope that this doesn't turn into a full blown relegation battle. In hartley trust.

    Andy Murray

At least he's getting his form back. That win will do no end to his confidence levels.
  7. I'd argue that TC became a jakey in Paisley
  8. Shh why let that get in the way of facts
  9. Saw it on Alba, and all I can say is Kyle is a twat. That is all. And again, good on Hartley for stepping up to the defence of his player. A true captain.
  10. I'm revelling in it. I never knew what joy felt like until now.

You can't. It's just a function that allows people to agree or disagree with you. Sometimes, someone will make it quite clear when they have booed you by the fact they disagree with what you've said. I think Edinburghdon's post is quite obvious though
  12. Noticed that on breakfast this morning too
  13. Biggest game since then I would have thought Maverick!
  14. I don't disagree that those stats are shocking, but he doesn't get played up front enough. I'm still bamboozled as to why McGhee chose to play Velicka instead of a player who is "in form" and had started to show glimpses of a partnership forming?!?
  15. It's offishal: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/2976759/Glaswegians-have-been-named-the-smelliest-people-in-Scotland.html
  16. Just seen it Absolute howler! Very unlike him to fail to collect a simple ball like that.
  17. We're shite for a number of reasons and Maguire ain't the definitive factor. And that's a fact stoney.
  18. For Fucks sake.
  19. Andrius Velicka, the Lithuanian striker yet to make an appearance for Aberdeen since joining on loan from Rangers, has been sent to a special fitness camp. (the Herald) ........
  20. Give them a call, were usually friendly enough. Unless GD is already there?
  21. Got a little bit of optimism about this game. Hopefully sneak a 1-0 victory. What time is it on Alba?
  22. Tell me about it, it's been a slow week! Though I've had to do an incredible amount of work Looking forward to beer o clock.
  23. True enough. I thought we had a yoof player that could play LB?!? Far from ideal, but I'd rather put in a player that was natural to that position than Consi. He should be playing in the centre with fuck knows who else. The problem is as you say, MM will not have the cahones to drop either of the under performing players.
  24. Whilst I agree with this to a degree, he was one of the few that manned up during the huns game. As I said, if he continues his form, I hope he stays. I think/hope we may see some maturity in his decision making.
  25. I'm sure the sun had to restrain themsevles from releasing that chapter
