  1. True enough, but i'd also argue we needed some experience in midfield. Not sure about Naysmith mind. I won't forgive him for renewing Clangers contract though, thats definitely a black mark on his record sheet. edit: the more and more I think about it, the more underwhelmed I get. Am I honestly to believe that a former EPL and current wales international GK is to be replaced by some no-one on peanuts?!? FFS aberdeen, sort it fucking out. If you're going to be this pathetic, you may as well just promote the youth keeper. That way at least we'll be saving money. How long does Clangers have left on his contract by the way? It would appear that this signing would mean we are not getting anyone in the summer...or is that just me?
  2. Fulham sign Urby Emanuelson, great signing by them imo. Was a key player for Ajax and was disappointed he's wasted time by going to Italy.
  3. Hmm a keeper who has played 29 senior games in 3 years, i'll try to remain optimistic... Cheapo keeper and no defender?!?!? ARGH :hammer:
  4. What's this pish about mcginn?!?! God if he was actually sold, we're as well giving up. I trust that is what it is, pish. P.s, please sign a centreback. Now.
  5. They better had, and they better have greater ability than clangers (not that thats very hard).
  6. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/england/9833531/Six-Nations-2013-England-are-too-arrogant-and-too-pretentious-says-former-Scotland-and-Lions-coach-Jim-Telfer.html Whilst i completely agree with him, now is not the time to be saying this sort of thing!
  7. Amusing, especially the commentators reaction http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K31V2H7lID0
  8. He's said that was a typo, but it certainly does sound like he's offski.
  9. According to goal.com (it is also now on other websites) Arsenal are in talks with Barcelona to get David Villa. Would be a fantastic signing for them, especially with Giroud starting to get to grips with the English game and Walcott scoring for fun at the moment. Still, i guess it's still within Wenger's "one or two" jan signings policy
  10. Genuinely don't know why they think it's a good idea Jute. As you said, all the evidence points to complete failure. That said, when the hell has the SFA or SPL given two hoots about the fans and the welfare of the game. Even the huns option is better than this.
  11. Far from convinced by it but hell, it annoys the fuck out of the huns, hopefully they'll fuck off sooner to their old firm league.
  12. To be honest, I think it's criminal that we don't appear to be doing anything. We NEED a CB, creative midfielder and striker. It would be inexcusable not to take advantage of the current situation in Scotland. We should be challenging for second at least.
  13. Rangers supporters are prepared to boycott every club in Scotland should the Ibrox outfit be stripped of titles. (Sun) Oh please do!
  14. If that's how we're playing regularly, it's no wonder the crowd was so poor. It was incredibly frustrating to watch, especially since we seemed to have no urgency whatsever! God knows why they don't know how to shoot though. ARGH! As a further note, why did CB wait so long to bring on the subs? IMO, Magennis should have been on far earlier as their back line was quite obviously woeful! Good to see Milsom back though.
  15. Was hearing on the news that his job is on the line despite the cup win.

    Andy Murray

That second set was crucial, can't help but think that is what was the turning point in murrays mentality. Its going to take something speacial for him to overcome Djokovic.
  24. Aberdeen veteran Gavin Rae is hoping for a new deal at Pittodrie and for manager Craig Brown to remain in charge. (Sunday Mail)
