Amusing advert with McIlroy and Woods: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/golf/article-2262263/Rory-McIlroy-Tiger-Woods-star-new-comedy-advert-VIDEO.html#axzz2JwH8BIfO FYI, I do not read the DM!

My strengthening comment was more as a general point at the moment in time (i.e. games leading up to it). But I am in complete agreement with the rest of your point though. As soon as I saw the team sheet, I was left confused and I don't think you needed any foresight to predict this result. Then he kept changing things throughout the whole game whilst avoiding the obvious answer...which came with 20 mins to go. This negativity has cost us our season, the players are clearly capable of playing exciting attacking football, but positional tinkering and negative tactics have ensured that it can't happen. From what I saw, there was absolutely no passion from our bench, whatsoever. In stark contrast to the HIVs.

Aye Mav, attendances are going to plummet and it's perfectly understandable. The horrific thing for the club is that it's happened so early, i'm not sure how they will recover from this. The only thing the club are good at is driving the fans away. I was reading Johnny Hayes' tweets last night and he certainly knows his form has been nothing short of shocking for the past few months and seems to be genuinely hurting. Still, he's not had to endure this for decades (for me personally, the whole duration of my time as a fan). I hope somehow that the team manage to use this as a serious wake up call and put a run together in the league, as unlikely as it is. The failure to strengthen in Jan has seriously bitten us in the arse.

So, who do you want in? To be honest, I think we could do worse than Billy Davies (if he'd take the job). Played good football when managing Forest and hasn't been in the limelight for a while, certainly wouldn't take any crap. The only other option would be Derek McInnes, but other than these two, I can't really think of anyone that I would want to see at the helm. Someone with a fucking clue would be a start

The last two paragraphs are spot on. I couldn't help but the think that Milsom was wasted out wide. He doesn't have the pace to be a winger and Hughes...well...less said the better imo. Padre made the Hayes comment on Fezbook too, it's certainly something i've noticed the past few weeks. Incredibly frustrating to watch because he always loses it. If he produced something special, I would understand.

I was going to use the stats to back that up, but BBC clearly weren't watching the game. They actually have us as having 9 shots, with hibs having 8...despite sky coverage at one point...circa 20 mins to go had hibs having 9. We should have started the game in that manner. Too defensive, too negative and we got what we deserved. Nothing.

Good post Manonmoons and all posts have been on the money. I cannot fault Langfield for once, he was probably one of the few players that performed. That strike was a worth match winner, but let's not get wrapped up in all that. Our performance was abysmal and not worthy of the support of the fans that had to endure that. Season well and truly over and I cannot see Brown lasting long after this. Who next, I don't know. I think the club were hoping we'd just tick over at least to the quarters and hope that he would leave at the end of the season...i'm not sure that this is possible anymore. Hibs were easily there for the taking, but they've found themselves a very good GK. I felt bad for Vernon, but that chance he had was unforgivable. He really should have slotted that away first time. You never get time and space in the box. However BR, Fallon is not the answer. He truly is an awful footballer. As others have said, i'd like to say i'm surprised by this, but i'm really not. A completely underwhelming end to the season considering what potential it promised. FFS Aberdeen

Tims one up after commons was a diving bastard. Mensing made a silly challenge (not sure if he made contact that time), but Commons has been looking for a pen all day.

I was pleasantly surprised by Scotland yesterday, it was nowhere near as bad as I feared it would be. Some good play and nice to see the line outs being won again. A lot of work to do, but there were a lot of positives to take from the performance yesterday. I think that England side will struggle if Ireland played the way they did in the first half. As a side note, Ashton is still a cunt. I wish someone would break him, if only to get him off the tv screen.
-
Haha, it was so interesting that that fact made it onto the BBC gossip column Rovers drawing 0-0 with the tims at the mo, christ their pitch is awful!
-
God I really hope the team and management steps up to the plate today. Hope everyone going has a great day! I see Anderson should be back for this, hopefully the break has done him some good and will instill some much needed calmness in the defence COYR!

Thats a good start

Just booked myself a week long trip back home to Holland for the Queens birthday, should be a massive party this year Also off to Greece in late June for a mates wedding in Athens. Going to be heading to Paros and possible Antiparos after, anyone been to those islands or tips for Greece?

I see the retard are running a story stating that McGinn turned 3 clubs down on DD. Fair play if true, certainly the player I didn't want to see leave during January.

Darron Gibson on twitter: : (external) "New song by Odemwingie 'Sign Me Maybe'...'Hey, I just drove here. And this is crazy. I'm in your car park. So sign me maybe' hahaha class!"
-
Giving all his ages to charity, very generous of him. Butland turned down Chelsea and signed for stoke city. Refreshing to hear he'd turn the blue scum down for the right reasons. That'll definitely mean that begovic is off in the summer then.
-
I'm shocked! Good to see the club finally stepping up. I hope it doesn't bite us in the arse. Nice one AFC.
-
FYI AFC, if this happens, it doesn't count as the defensive signing we need!
-
I want to, I really do, but i'm getting increasingly disillusioned with the whole setup and it saddens me greatly. I was supposed to be going to Serbia, but i really don't want to waste my money or holidays. Who knows, maybe Strachan will galvanise the support and the players. I'm hoping so anyway.
-
Good to see things are going to change then...
-
Precisely DOTD, fuck knows why unless he's really that shite. After tonight, really, no outfield players (defenders) required brown? Sort it fucking out. Not being in the top 3 come the end of the season will be criminal.
-
Season is just about to peter without so much as a whimper. Glad I couldn't get my stream to work now!
-
I always prefer to see magennis coming off the bench as an impact sub. Problem is, brown always deploys him too late. Three points tonight please!
