  1. Bastard Al! Nearly gave me a heart attack! True enough though
  2. I was discussing this with my house mate the other day. Now I don't buy kows original statement that without religion we'd be in a happier place. Religion has privided culture to the world. It has shaped architecture and inspired people in days gone by. Today, its infinitely less and less relevant but unfortunately for us, things that all other religions carried out centuries ago, islam is only catching up with. Unfortunately, we're seeing their modern warfare and modern technology has enabled these idiots. Islam is probably the only religion I know that cannot take a joke. Why? I have no idea. I can almost understand the atrocities in France because of how French Algerians and even France treated Algerians in Algeria in the past. What I fail to see is how idiots in our country or most other countries in europe feel persecuted. I'm not sure what the answer is, because I don't think blaming imams or whoever is going to solve anything. Hearing religious leaders doesn't change the fact that there are idiots in this world. My concern is that it will be an excuse for western extremist idiots to kick up a fuss. Europe is already headed towards a more right wing political situation, and these cunts are giving people like fucking farage the ammunition he wants. The world is a fucked up place.
  3. As I said in another thread, think it was the McGinn one, I am still getting used to our club being run like a professional outfit. Such a breath of fresh air! DM being at the forefront of it
  4. I think it's a non story Al. In other non story news: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/451496/undefined-headline-819/
  5. What are the chances of this actually being played given the apparent weather warnings If on: Out Flat Pub Leaving party 2-1, McGinn.
  6. Very positive to read, and is something that all clubs in Scotland should be doing IMO. Something that should be considered before the start of the season as well so that ST holders don't moan about getting shafted.
  7. Looks like he's offski: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30714385 Shame for Hamilton and will be interesting to see whether they keep up their good form in his absence.
  8. Thoroughly deserved by both. POTM could have gone to any number of our squad imo.
  9. Wow, I am genuinely shocked, almost on a weekly basis how well our club is run on a weekly basis compared to previous years. Perfect response from McInnes and spot on.
  10. The fact that even some Oldham fans were against it says it all! Its gonna come and bite them in the arse. Idiots.
  11. lol. Tell us what you think baggy
  12. He's a resident of Aberdeen, rocket. Of course he doesn't go to games
  13. Thought Graeme summed it up pretty well tbh be honest. I do hope that footage / images of him celebrating don't surface though, would be embarrassing for all parties. Even though I think it's just a few jumped up dhims and weegia spreading shite. A footballer being silly? Wonders will never cease
  14. if tlg was manager, it would solve the problem with who to drop for St. Mirren
  15. Seems strange that Enrique refused to confirm or deny speculation though. Only ever makes the situation worse.
  16. So i see according to the daily Hun, we've been linked with Paul Quinn from county. Can't say I know enough about him to even make a judgement, but since it's in the Hun, i'll presume it's shite
  17. If McGinn was a fanny like Zander diamond, I'd have a problem with it, but there are vast differences between the two. He's a lifelong tim and whilst I'd like to think I wouldn't do the same, its his own free time he can do what he pleases (within reason). Yes I'd like him to celebrate against the vermin but as long as he's performing and scoring that's all I care about. We don't need our own fans to derail our season with in fighting. If anyone boos him, I hope they get a swift punch in the face. I have no doubts he has learned from this.
  18. Bit of a hooha going on at the moment with mcginn being seen in the away end with the dhims last night. Can't say I have a problem with it, just possibly not the smartest thing to do given the circumstances.
  19. This is definitely one of the banana skins and agree we need a bit more steel in midfield to go against st mirren. I suspect it might be one where we resort to 4-5-1 with DG dropping to the bench, that or 3-5-2 with consi dropping.
  20. Well, thats precisely what I was referring to, and I think keeping him in that side will be unfair to him and those around him. Liverpool look like they need a clean slate. No-one can doubt he isn't a fantastic player, as evidenced last night and i'm glad he turned down the corrupt money in Qatar for a league has a bit of excitement about it. But I always wonder if he'll look back at his career and think, what if?
  21. Precisely, it's all in our hands. Killie are rotten, it's not necessarily their fault. I'm glad delia celebrated like a buffoon again
  22. I certainly don't disagree that as a striker he should be scoring more, but from what i've seen he's arguably one of the most talented footballers we have at the club. I spotted the petulance and can't say disappointed to see it but I still think his all round play warrants a new deal. He still should have scored 3 goals I thought on Sunday. Did he not have a fresh air swipe just inside the box in the first half? All that said, if he continues to set up Rooney and others, i'm happy with that. As long as we convert a few more...

    Comedians

    Well played Adam Hills
  24. Off back to Brighton today. Wonder if we'll see another loanee in his place?
  25. Pretty much sums it up. it's a shame that their red card hadn't happened earlier as justice for cheating their way to 2nd last season. Not that i'm bitter about that. Over 1700 dandies there, great effort! Also: nice little tit bit in BBC gossip this morning: Aberdeen officially have the best defence in the world, with goalkeeper Scott Brown's seventh consecutive clean sheet taking them clear of French outfit St Etienne and Argentina's Racing.
