  1. Away leg only. So some fun Ole Ole link will suffice
  2. Nah, it's just 20,000 all seater. I think the club (stupidly) said a while back that they weren't going to have any safe standing
  3. Despite being a cyclist myself (Hi ED and TC ) I can't really see the point in providing it at the football, or any other major venue in all honesty for the very reason you've outlined above. Cycling through Arsenal traffic after 5's is a nightmare. It's a nice idea, but won't work. They should have reduced the car parking further though on the basis that they should have organised suitable public transport. 1,300 spaces is a lot for a society that is trying to dissuade people from driving. Edit: and the colonnade should be interesting, I hope they don't have to fill that all up with fencing / gates. PVC wrap (similar to the Olympic stadium which worked very well) looks good. With regards to the proposal itself, hard to see much about it and those corners have potential to be quite bland, but the general masterplan seems logical. Am I the only one that seems surprised that they haven't allowed for a proper indoor facility - multi use space doesn't count? A few folk on fezbook questioned why it's on 20K, I think the figure is bang on given the amount of games we actually get anywhere near that figure. Better than having a soulless bowl.
  4. Hmm, interesting, think these must be taken from the consultation viewing?
  5. The away leg will be televised on Premier Sports (19.15 UK time).
  6. Think you'll probably be right about the game. I'm still not trying to get too excited about it all until it happens.
  7. Can't see us changing much in terms of the line up, but the defence seriously concerns me. Maribor are no mugs so we'll need to be on our game. Hopefully see a decent crowd at Pittodrie for it too. I know McInnes was hoping for 17-18k This is why our defence concerns me against a team like them: https://twitter.com/nkmaribor_en/status/757307594448965633
  8. Can't tell anything on the highlights about aucho but the goal we conceded?!? Fuck me. Awful. We had about 7 players in the box for the corner and they had 2 and score. Our goals were well taken.pawlett reacted angrily to the challenge, seemed to slap the guy in the face who then tried to head butt him. Both deserved to go.
  9. A few folk on the fezbook page seem to think he was decent. Time will tell I guess! Have a feeling Reidzer might be right in the end...
  10. Was he any good then?
  11. Absolutely agree with the bits in bold. Would love to get Hector come back but as Rico said, I think that ship has long sailed unfortunately. I also don't think he'd be the answer. As you say, we need an experienced head and as highly as I rate Hector, he's still relatively young and would need another one alongside him. I think Taylor's only attribute is his height, don't think he does anything else but cause panic. We've seen Reynolds could do it, but whether he could do it again, i'm really not sure. I'd disagree about who to punt though, I'd punt Taylor and Reynolds.
  12. That and he's been pretty shite or injured for two years is a good enough of a reason as any to move him on.
  13. Sounds like there may be another body on their way soon
  14. https://youtu.be/IqcuMm00H7A Longer highlights but some really annoying music:
  15. Would have loved to have gone, only heard good things about it and I quite like the look of their stadium. Used it as a precedent a few times. Needless to say, this is going to be fucking tough! They are no mugs. Maribor highlights from last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dM_kc22obNw
  16. Sounded like a very professional performance from the team and dm. Subs contributed and we're unlucky (from what I heard) not to score. Now to see where we end up! Only concern, we really need a centre half, Taylor is a nightmare. How did Reynolds play? Brown seemed very pleased with his performance.
  17. Good to see more of the newbies getting on
  18. Stream stopped so listening to redtv, sounded like an ace stop!
  19. my streams were doing the same. thought it was user error but I guess not. The audio quality is woeful too
  20. I see Burns has a hamstring strain too (according to my app). Pawlett has to be on his way out.
  21. So how do we see us lining up tonight? I don't think we can afford to take the risks like we did last time so probably a similar line up to last week. Hoping for a 2-0 victory. No fucking about and keep it nice and simple. The job is nearly done!
  22. Alardyce to be England manager. That's Sunderland fucked.
  23. According to the EE: With Aberdeen’s Europa League first round qualifier only available on Premier Sports, many fans have been wondering where they can watch the match. The second leg against CS Fola Esch kicks off at 5.30pm, with coverage starting at 5.25pm. International subscribers to RedTV can also watch the Dons online but for many, it will be a scramble to find a suitable pub. Fortunately, we have compiled a list of city centre pubs that will be showing the game so you can still back the Reds from afar. 24. I checked as I presumed it should go to NTD but the big man (BigAl) had spoken.
