  1. He's also Irish, which is our second signing criterion. Good player back in the day but the guy drove a black and pink land rover didn't he? Fanny
  2. I've had to start reducing my time on twitter. The amount of cunts in our support is thoroughly depressing and they're thick as pigshit, despite what they think. Questioning is all well and good, but they're blinded by their stupidity. Sooner they stop supporting the dons, the better.
  3. Heard that on the radio today, hilarious listening. He seems to genuinely believe the shit he pedals.
  4. Relief is what I feel. Thank fuck that's over. Horrible watch and made even more annoying with REDTV /verizon fucking up. No idea how we got through but through we are. McGinn was woeful tonight. As others have said, was impressed with Wilson. Gms unlucky not to be a bit quicker to his pass in the first half. Hibs will be kicking themselves.
  5. No idea, cut out pretty much a few mins into the second half Edit: Use the backup player
  6. Hibs definitely shading it. Had the better of the chances, not sure why Boyle used his arm. Excellent free kick from ba though, extremely unlucky
  7. Fair assessment. Not an uncommon view among opposition fans.
  8. I only just noticed this. Yeah my fiance found this on the website we use over the weekend. Have they made an arse of it or is it good? Bookwise, done a fair amount of reading over the last few months. Conpleted a Douglas Skelton series in Glasgow which was dark and great. Then a series of comedy crime novels by caimh mcdonnell. Both authors are good value
  9. Hopefully have this on in the background at work. Been a while since i've been able to watch a mate, bring on more evening football! We'll need to up our game against HIVs, but hopefully they've had a nice wee confidence booster from yesterdays result. Is it the league cup that doesn't go to a replay? Hibs 1 - Dons 1, McKenna (hibs to win aet if no replay).
  10. Worst start in 20 years for the dhims, really hope we capitalise on this, although given our exploits in glasgow, i doubt it. Well done Killie
  11. Good news to wake up to didn't expect it to be a classic in terms of quality, 3 points the most important thing and a goal for Wilson. Happy days
  12. Just finished it today, as you say, season two was excellent! Just got better and better

  14. Massive game today, really need to try and get our season up and running. The next few games (celtic aside) we should be looking to pick maximum points on and certainly progress through to the next round in the cup. It won't be easy as there are some tough games in amongst the more favourable. Time to earn your crust DM. Motherwell are always a tough side to play against but regardless of injuries, I'd still hope we have enough to see them off. Oot Bed Bed Bed Dons 1 - Motherwell 0, Shinnie
  15. This topic has been moved to Aberdeen Football Club. [iurl]http://www.donstalk.co.uk/index.php?topic=19938.0[/iurl]
  16. That's some positive news
  17. I think you need to take the red spectacles off, the fact remains they are in Europe and got a result away at a tough ground.
  18. Mcghee really needs to gtf
  19. Assuming Wilson doesn't pick a list min injury it'll possibly be that line up. Would be madness to have a different back line anyway.
  20. I've been quiet on all things hun, trying to wait and see, but their usual banana skins don't seem to be slipping them up. Thank god i'm no-where near the UK so don't have deal deal with the media wankfest. It's going to be unbearable.
  21. I think Ge55ard is going to do quite well with them
  22. The amount of people that seem incapable of working this out is beyond me. Imagine the outcry if folk were made to pay upfront?!? It's a good scheme, whilst I can't afford to do it at the moment, I hope to at some point in the future. Hopefully we'll reap the rewards over the next couple of years.
  23. Indeed, jenever was the original gin. When you're in Amsterdam next, check out the jenever bar next door to the old Nicol (near centraal station). Folk need to remember not to mix it though, more like a whisky in how it's imbibed .

    Films

Black Panther - really good film and perfect action film for a Friday night. Although some of the accents (forrest whittaker in particular) were pretty suspect.
  25. I don't think folk should look at the Burnley games as a barometer for this team. They were essentially two cup finals and they always take care of themselves. The real performance level of this team appears to be what we've seen thus far. The issues we've all known for some time (DM knows these too) are there for all to see, striker (lack of) creativity (lack of) he tried to address these, albeit poorly. Disappointing to hear that Shinnie's performance levels seem to be dropping. Hopefully once we get the team fully fit we'll see a marked change, certainly too soon to panic, but it's not looking great.
