  1. I don't think it's the loss of Taylor so much as he played against Dundee and we only got better when he went off injured - it's the fact that Reynolds is not playing well at all - him & Considine just didn't look comfortable last night Need some bite in our midfield - even tho no-one really played well apart from Rooney tho he is a star every game - we are still creating plenty chances 26 points from the last 30 is still a fantastic achievement

I really liked The Theory of Everything - Eddie Redmayne defo deserved his Golden Globe - at times I forgot it was him and not the actual Stephen Hawking in the film I'm excited about Birdman - one of my workmates was raving about it
  3. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/mcinnes-mcginn-let-down-by-agent-in-twitter-fans-row.115740691 Well said McInnes
  4. This is what I think too - not one single one of you will be happy at Celtic Park next month if we are still close points wise and McGinn either misses a sitter/penalty/gets sent off/scores an own goal/smiles when they score etc so he should show some savvy. Being a footballer is a powerful, privileged position and with great power comes great responsibility Right I'm away to unfollow him on twitter - drop him and play Willo instead - what team does he support
  5. I'm a bit annoyed that the last 4 games I have been to Aberdeen have scored 1 goal and been beaten 4 times!! Maybe we should both just stay away

Gone Girl is pretty rubbish - reminded me that I hated the book and why I only like Ben Affleck in Argo
  8. Please tell me he won't be playing Out - Work Meal with same mates as Jute Same pub for game Would like dons to score and not concede any goals - Goodwille
  9. Thanks Manc, I'm the designated driver tonight so no prosecco but a gin tour tomorrow
  10. In Driving through with Jute and daughters Away stand Driving back Dons win for my birthday
  11. Oh wow I like this post

Really I'm talking proper cinemas like the Cameo & Filmhouse - usually a cultured audience

Pride is fantastic - I cried and the audience clapped at the end - always a sign of a great film
  14. ^^^^^^ I love George Monbiot - he is like my fav guy on the planet at the moment - funnily enough I just gave my girls an article that he had written tonight for them to read
  15. Oot Painting my toenails and trying out my new decaffeinated organic Nicaraguan roast & ground coffee Watching on tv with sushi, olives, & cheese for lunch Maybe Scotland ladies at Motherwell then ceilidh later Double from Goodwillie & Rooney

I was at the pics last night to see Two Days One Night, very good wee french film Lots of good stuff coming this month too - i do love a trip to the cinema
  17. Yeh I know it wasn't good viewing at all. The team already look like they need freshened up which is a bit disconcerting given the season has only just started. I think we all thought they would hit the ground running given that we played so well in the european ties but it was more like watching an end of season game with nothing to play for at Perth.
  18. We lost 2 of our first 4 games last season, drew with St Johnstone and only beat Alloa on penalties in August so no need to panic!!! So cheer up lads, it's a bank holiday today and the sun is actually shining - I'm off to a spa day with afternoon tea and prosecco
  19. In Train with Manc discussing his tram journey Whichever end Edinburghdon got tickets for Hopefully quiet night in and not drunk so I have no hangover and can go a walk in the morning Goodwillie goals galore
  20. Aw Robin Williams
  21. It was only a fiver - i think it will be ok now as there were tonnes of buses at Hampden yesterday My family had a superb day out at the athletics yesterday - Hampden is fab as an athletics venue - distinct lack of scottish competitors but hopefully one legacy of these games will be to encourage youngsters into the sport
  22. Was that Eurocentral too I'm booked in at 4.15 on Thursday!!!!
  23. I'm booked in to the Park & Ride at Eurocentral for the evening session of the athletics on Thursday but might end up not using it if the buses don't improve The Rugby 7s at Ibrox yesterday were superb - brilliant to witness South Africa winning the gold and the atmosphere was tremendous Shuttle buses from Buchanan St were excellent but Scotrail a nightmare at coping with the massive load of folk needing trains back to Edinburgh
  24. I had a fantastic day in Glasgow yesterday - beautiful sunshine and tattie scone brioche rollls The women's hockey and rhythmic gymnastics were excellent and watching the triathlon at Glasgow Green in the shade lounging about on cushions with scottish gin was a lovely way to spend the afternoon Got tickets for the rugby 7s on Sunday and athletics too which should be fab
