  1. Oops I might go too then - I do like a friendly at Easter Road
  2. Rooney for me too - he has been brilliant since he arrived
  3. Smooth It was nearly my teenage years
  4. Aw cute is that the 14th that we came into being? I started supporting the dons 35 years ago yesterday
  5. My dad is a hibee, I support Aberdeen, my oldest daughter was a mascot at the CL game between Celtic & Barcelona thanks to her dad ( she now likes the dons cause she is at uni up there) You can steer your kids in the right direction (depsite my ex having a Celtic season ticket my youngest daughter likes the dons too cause she has been to games with me and not him) But ultimately you have to let them support their own team - the nicest thing my dad ever did for me was to take me to Pittodrie as a kid when Easter Road was a bus journey away from us Good Luck

Wild Tales is hilarious - wickedly dark and very funny The road rage scene and wedding especially
  7. In / out: Out Pre matcher:Shopping Match: Walk along Portobello Prom & coffee Post matcher: Mass & Easter Eggs Prediction: The dons are bound to win since I'm not gonna be there - Rooney & Shankland & maybe Goodwillie
  8. Full strength and not making any decent use of subs isnt getting us 3 points now tho is it - we were terrible in that 2nd half against Dundee so I think the team needs freshened up
  9. I'm on the train with a coffee and some George Monbiot articles - how sophisticated missing my fellow globes and prosecco tho
  10. Talking of books & films I'm reading Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy as the film comes out in May I haven't read a great deal of classics but this one is quite enjoyable so far Canny make up my mind if I'm gonna ever get a kindle - using my daughter's for this one but think I will always prefer actual books
  11. Ooh In Train by myself reading my book (see Off Topic) then pub with Jute & NQ Away End Pub & trying to persuade above to watch the game at Murrayfield Out in Edinburgh for birthday bash and some Irish action Daniels & Rooney & McLean
  12. Very nice but the top is too long
  13. Hehe I didn't even notice then went back after I read Scotfree's comments and now I'm just intrigued The shorts are far too baggy now anyway - bring back 80's style I need something to keep me going after giving up booze & chocolate for lent...............
  14. Hehe i've just read that thread You know I only go out with youngsters if they belong to the globes
  15. Mine's was Pittodrie in 1981 or may have been slightly later - we got beat by Dundee Utd - I nearly fainted when I saw Neale Cooper in the flesh I started supporting Aberdeen on the evening of 14th April 1980 - jings 35 years ago

Still haven 't seen Birdman so will have to sort that out soon Selma is very good
  17. Mmm I quite like Patrick but if I was Nicola I would choose Humza
  18. Cheers for the highlights Al Maybe we should mix things up at Pittodrie and play that way more often in the 2nd half I suspect a lot of you on here will be the same but the matches I was planning to go to in March have all been changed for the tv arrgh

    Andy Murray

Anyone watching Murray this morning. Oooft exciting stuff, 1 set all with Andy just going 5 - 3 up in the third!! F
  22. I don't think it's the loss of Taylor so much as he played against Dundee and we only got better when he went off injured - it's the fact that Reynolds is not playing well at all - him & Considine just didn't look comfortable last night Need some bite in our midfield - even tho no-one really played well apart from Rooney tho he is a star every game - we are still creating plenty chances 26 points from the last 30 is still a fantastic achievement

I really liked The Theory of Everything - Eddie Redmayne defo deserved his Golden Globe - at times I forgot it was him and not the actual Stephen Hawking in the film I'm excited about Birdman - one of my workmates was raving about it
