  1. I was actually surprised the crowd was that big! Anyone know roughly how many away fans there were ?
  2. Saturday, 26 April 2008 Aberdeen v Hibernian - Win for Aberdeen Motherwell v Dundee Utd - Draw 3 Motherwell 33 53 4 Dundee Utd 35 52 5 Hibernian 35 51 6 Aberdeen 35 47 Saturday, 03 May 2008 Aberdeen v Dundee Utd - Win for Aberdeen Motherwell v Celtic - Win for Celtic 3 Motherwell 34 53 4 Dundee Utd 36 52 5 Hibernian 35 51 6 Aberdeen 36 50 Sunday, 04 May 2008 Hibernian v Rangers - Win for Huns 3 Motherwell 34 53 4 Dundee Utd 36 52 5 Hibernian 36 51 6 Aberdeen 36 50 Wednesday, 07 May 2008 Rangers v Motherwell - Win for Huns 3 Motherwell 35 53 4 Dundee Utd 36 52 5 Hibernian 36 51 6 Aberdeen 36 50 Saturday, 10 May 2008 Motherwell v Aberdeen - Win for Aberdeen Rangers v Dundee Utd - Win for Huns 3 Motherwell 36 53 4 Aberdeen 37 53 5 Dundee Utd 37 52 6 Hibernian 36 51 Sunday, 11 May 2008 Celtic v Hibernian - Win for Tims 3 Motherwell 36 53 4 Aberdeen 37 53 5 Dundee Utd 37 52 6 Hibernian 37 51 Assuming Motherwell lose their game in hand against the Huns before the last set of fixtures then we would go into the last day as follows: 3 Motherwell 36 53 4 Aberdeen 37 53 5 Dundee Utd 37 52 6 Hibernian 37 51 Sunday, 18 May 2008 Aberdeen v Rangers Dundee Utd v Celtic Hibernian v Motherwell We win and Hibs beat Motherwell or they draw and UTD lose to Celtic then we are home and hosed. Depending on goal difference (which we have a poor one) we could possibly only draw, although Hibs or Motherwell could match our points total in this case. Might as well stay positive until 4:45 today
  3. I think we can afford for that to happen. Then Motherwell MUST lose to Hibs. **I should note at this point I don't think we can do this I'm simply speculating as to the requirements

Heston was the Derek Young of the Death squad.
  6. Today Motherwell draw or lose to UTD (currently 1-1 at HT) Today we beat Hibs. After this weekend: We win all our next 3 (UTD, Well and Huns). Aberdeen 56 points. Motherwell lose to OF and us and lose or draw with Hibs. Motherwell 52 or 53 or 55 points. Hibs lose to OF and beat or draw with Motherwell. Hibs 53 or 55 points. UTD lose to us and OF. UTD 52 or 54 points. Hello Europe Basically, OF beat all other teams and Motherwell don't beat Hibs or UTD then we win all our games and its a done deal
  7. I might get a t-shirt printed for next season, dedicated to the Youngs. I haven't decided on the message, any ideas ?
  8. Always good to know that coming here would be right up his alley.
  9. Even their fans wanted to come on and get torn in. It really must have been too much for the poor fuckers to swallow when a team like ours came to the home of 'ra people' and tore them a new one.
  10. ....all that is wrong with these scumbags. Nice goal from Hewitt though
  11. Your 'contract' or statement of terms and conditions as they are officially called is merely a written version of the 'contract' of employment you have with your employer. The real 'contract' is held by the fact that you receive payment for your 'work' on an ongoing basis. The details of your terms and conditions are what holds you or the company to certain aspects but as a general agreement its the taking wages for work that really constitutes the 'contract' not a piece of paper. Thus, tearing up a piece of paper has no effect whatsoever other than to send an emotional message to you employer that you are spitting the dummy.
  12. He also got a stupid yellow card and has gone over the 15 point threshold so will miss games in the run-in
  13. Its brilliant how they have said they are going to ship out 'high earning players', isn't that exactly the opposite of what they have been promising all these years ? Goodbye skillful Africans or robust top level british-style players and hello another batch of mediocre Lithuanians rolling off the boats. They really are up shit creek without a canoe.
  14. Given we need the other three non-OF teams to draw with each other in every game to give us a chance, then we need to beat all of them and take a minimum of 1 further point from one of our OF fixtures (probably 2 given our GD) I'd say it's pretty much a done deal.
  15. I may be demented but I'm actually looking forward to the turnaround in personnel at the club. It feels like things have got pretty stale around the squad and a change will be good, even if all the players we bring in are not of an exceptionally high standard I'd hope we woul dat least nail a few good ones. Also, 12K to 18K is a 50% increase, not double or a third
  16. Does this put anything in perspective ? It does for me.......
  17. Darren Young Scott Wilson Mark Kerr Jan van Danban Van Jan Bandan Hert of Hurtneveer See y'all next season for the big push...
  18. I decided to make some quick changes to the employment handbook when I got in this morning and as a result I've sacked two jambos and threatened one hibee with disciplinary action. Being the MD has its perks
  19. Who owns the big blue and white St Andrews cross? Cracker that, and huge. I've never seen it at games.
  20. Sun and a summer with family hopefully. Football is now officially off my agenda until August.
  21. I have done the same and to make matters worse my wife just called to say she has invited some mates around on Saturday night for some wine and chat and wants me to stay away. I'm in trouble by the time Sunday morning comes if we win. If we lose I'm going back to a house full of weemin jabbering. ..........
  22. I may go and show my support for the dance champion. Its a gamble I know but wanting him to pull the plug now is a bit like giving up at £32K on millionaire. We could hang in there a bit longer and support his presence in the full knowledge it will take the £37m debt up a few notches. Hell, lets push for the extra £51m stadium refurb before we go trying to push his sorry ass out the door. Really watch them drown in debt. I was never a big circus fan as a kid but this makes Jim Rose look like Mary fucking Poppins
  23. Paul Mason's Skol Cup victory for me. Although it was nice to do Celtic in the Scottish Cup you just aren't ever going to top turning over the Orcs in Vegas, especially after seeing us fuck it the year previously.
