  1. It would just be so beautiful if: The huns beat Hibs tomorrow and Motherwell on Wednesday to put them 2 points behind Celtic with 2 games in hand. Then we beat Motherwell next Saturday and UTD get a draw at Ibrox meaning we move level with Motherwell and huns are 1 point off Celtic with a game in hand. Then Celtic beat Hibs on the Sunday to go 4 points clear with 2 games extra played. On the Saturday huns beat Motherwell to go within 1 point with a game in hand. Assume huns beat St Mirren in midweek to go 2 points clear at top. Then on the last day, Hibs beat/draw with Motherwell at ER, Celtic hammer UTD at Tannadice and we beat the huns. We take 3rd and the huns lose the league. Its the stuff of dreams
  2. Any doubters starting to think it might just be worth dreaming yet ?
  3. Thats not a great looking side
  4. That was close, thought Motherwell were gonna take Celtic there. C'mon Aberdeen, do the business today, mind you wouldn't fancy us much against Motherwell if they play that way.
  5. It was exactly that. My apologies for causing such consternation
  6. I'm not that arsed about Nicholson leaving either. My main concern is whether we can get as good a player to replace him. If we bring in someone who can fill that slightly dirty midfield role and dominate games, hold up play and allow others to bring progressive, forward thinking play to the team then we will be asking 'Barry who ?' 5 games in to next season. If we put Stuart Duff in there then we will all be posting threads about how Nicholson is getting on at Luton. Its all relative.
  7. He looks pretty fit. After seeing a recent picture of Mackie it will be nice to see lean Dyon perform for us: ...sorry.
  8. He will go the same way as the rest, the odd came®o role in the first team then bye bye
  9. We can afford for Hibs to take something there as long as they don't win. The odd point here and there doesn't swing it but 3 points might. I'm not sure which way it will go but whether you want to be optimistic or not the game is still very important. While there is still hope, then let's....well....hope.
  10. Scrappy Dons victory. 1-0 or 2-1.
  11. A quick word with Anderson will screw that notion.

    Celeb Deaths

Its amazing the sort of sick sites you find on the world wide web Some folks plump for the sickos and nearly deads...I pinned my money on the over-100 brigade. Gravity gets them everytime Go me.
  13. You been guzzling some of his produce Stoney?
  14. McNamara had us all juiced up too.
  15. Yes, finishing above UTD in their best league season in years while having our worst in 3 years would be funny.
  16. Signed on a pre-contract agreement. 1 down lots to go. He scored against Everton you know!
  17. Last time we had a limited squad and UTD came north did we not send them packing with a lesson in playing football ? Bring these cunts right on, we're havin' Jute pie come saturday.
  18. ZD is missing for the next two games. Optimism officially a thing of the past. Please lock this thread.
  19. Forgot all about that one from the Celtic game Ach well, I was able to remain optimistic for at least 36 hours
  20. Although it's splitting hairs I think both their games in hand are against Rangers, the Celtic fixture is a normal top 6 fixture. Whichever way its cooked, they still have a very difficult run in and I think they might be the club with the least momentum behind them at the moment. Bottom line is that we have 2 fixtures we have to take care of. Get through them with 6 points and we give ourselves a fantastic crack at it, with the huns already champions we should be comfortable in that game.
  21. I think you are right. We should take care of UTD if we are hungry enough but playing Motherwell at Fir Park is not something we do well. The pitch will make it a bit of a lottery though so we might have a chance. Would be good just to get to that point knowing that we could have something to play for against the huns. They will have almost certainly wrapped up the title by then so will have nothing to play for. If they haven't then we are unlikely to be looking at 3rd as someone will have had to beat them and that will blow our chances. We need Hibs, Motherwell and UTD to pick up very few points from now on.
  22. I see Sheilds has said we are the worst Aberdeen side he has seen in years and he is ashamed to have lost to us
  23. Its true flooter, AFC is like a drug but we are all hooked and we don't need some clean mother fucker coming and telling us how good it is when you are off the shit. We all want to hope and dream and we will cling onto whatever bullshit there is to believe in. At present there is a faint hope that we can salvage something from this season. Let us dwell on this and until its not possible bask in the potential glory. I feel good about it all.
  24. I think our game at Fir Park might be the biggy. I can see us taking care of UTD at Pittodrie and the OF taking care of the others in between as they chase the title. Got to hope Celtic win tomorrow to keep the title alive. I think Motherwell look like a team who are crawling over the line in terms of performances. If we can get some momentum behind us then this set of results is a tall order but clearly possible. Hibs could still be in a position to win against Motherwell and get 54 points meaning they would be 3rd if we lost to Rangers in the scenario I have laid out above. Still something to play for, however tenuous.
