They'll be raking up penalties like nobodies business. First rule of running a business is always pay your tax liabilities first. With this and the Huns problems we could see a domino effect of clubs folding around Scotland.
They do have a transfer window. The English (and I thought the Scottish started this season) football leagues also have a loan window that runs 8th September to 25th November and 8th February to 24th March. In which clubs can loan a player on an "emergency" loan for up to a maximum of 93 days in one season with no recall within the first 28 days unless the player is a goalkeeper. Youth loans are for players under 21 and can be open ended with no recall within the first 28 days at all (whether the player is an outfield player or goalkeeper).
These rules have applied in the Football League since the inception of transfer windows but FIFA are unhappy with them and have told the Football League that all loans outside of a transfer window must be abolished by the 2014-15 season.
Didn't realise she was an Alford quine.
She's been writing top songs for other folk and just about to release her own stuff, what's the chance I can be the first* to suggest she clubs together with Annie Lennox and buys the Dons???
(*Coming to all lesser Dons forums soon as an exclusive rumour)
Watched Drive last night. Fucking Superb! Loved the 80's feel from the "Cocktail" style neon credits to the not pandering to American box office tweens and making it actually violent. Ryan Gosling ice cold cool and Carey Mulligan strangely hot.
mmm Rovers this season? How not to improve your wikipedia record. There's a reason why EVERYONE has turned it down, so far.
Hopefully he's in before Saturday and he can inspire his Rovers team to equalling the scoreline from his first competitive game in charge of Aberdeen.
Cheltenham got a fee and other clauses based on progress and an agreed percentage of sell on fee when Arsenal signed 15 year old Jamie Edge.
Unfortunately Arsenal released him last summer.
You'd hope if Cheltenham can negotiate that for a player that had not signed pro terms we should be able to negotiate at least similar for someone who has.
Reynolds was a crook whose vanity has destroyed a 130 year old football club. Anyone remember the bulshitting from him about being able to have built the new Wembley for £30k and the video of his wife telling supporters to fuck off at one of the AGM's.
Shit stadium too, made/makes the mainer seem spacious.
Feel for the supporters especially as they were rescued from the Reynolds nightmare by another moron who thought his money made him bright enough to out-think actual football folk.
Suppose they are big enough to be back in another form at some point though.
While I was in Tattieland over Christmas there was a suggestion that the Irish would get into bed with an Independent Scotland and create some sort of Celtic currency using Scottish Sterling. No idea where it came from as someone else joined the conversation at that point and I never got round to asking.
I don't know. Surely having the opportunity at 17 of going to the EPL having the use of top class training facilities training with top professionals getting a decent wage to do so with the added bonus of working towards playing in one of the better more lucrative leagues against top international players? You'd be a bit of an idiot to pass that up.
Also at 17 are you going to believe that you can't make it? Surely if you think like that you will never make it and probably aren't cut out for professional sport.
Regardless even if you don't make it you'll have a few more leagues to drop through than you would at Aberdeen.
( apologies for rambling appearance my comma key is not working)
By us I assume AFC?
Isn't there loans from Gilbert and Milne to Talltray repayable this year if Pittodire is not sold at a rate of something like 10%. Plus the older loans that were rolled up and taken on by talltray?
Therefore my guess is less than fuck all, where's that option?
I'm almost waiting for Milne to sell Pittodrie and build the stadium at cove out of his profits from Talltray and Afc in general then rent our new ground back to us at a rate that keeps us forever financially crippled.
Oh and delays like that are what happens when you put a; Hun in a job because of his father, in charge of something important.
At the minute, given the players out of contract this season, if we do avoid relegation this season, next season will merely be a formality.
Either way it's a race between us Hearts and the Huns for financial oblivion.
