Are we blaming the manager for Considineās effort hitting the bar? For Rooney failing to connect with a last minute cross? For Tansey having a total rush of blood and giving away a penalty early at ibrox? I know his headās been turned, and I know the saga has been a distraction for him and his players. But the implication that he somehow allowed them to take 6 points from us to benefit his new team intentionally is laughable.

Not buying any of that Iām afraid, āsporting integrityā pish being thrown at McInnes. Yes the media are in bed with the huns, but heās not implicated in any of it directly. The whole situation is frustrating, and the outcome may be inevitable, but Iām amazed at how many (usually) level headed people are getting carried away with ridiculous conspiracy theories.

This is a fucking shambles. BAMG must go.

Tribute Act v Dons 29/11 & Dons v Tribute Act 03/12
CtS replied to Jute's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I thought McLean did ok yesterday apart from 2 mistakes in the 2nd half, also he was constantly gee-ing up his team mates and certainly wasnāt one of our worst performers over the two games. Not sure whatās happened to Logan, but I know a lot of these players were happy to sign on for Aberdeen because they enjoyed the working environment McInnes had created - Iāll be pissed off if Logan and others have effectively given up because they know DMC is offski. Said it on Wednesday and Iāll say it again, the first goal in these games is absolutely critical. Tansey blew it on Wednesday, and a combination of Shinnieās reckless challenge and some poor set piece defending (again) cost us yeaterday. -
I was just a wee bit sick in my mouth there...but I canāt argue with the fact heād probably do a decent job here. Canāt see him leaving Edinburgh for Aberdeen though.

Tribute Act v Dons 29/11 & Dons v Tribute Act 03/12

Think we should try not to over react to this, itās always a blow losing to them of course - but thereās every chance weāll beat them on Sunday, and itās not beyond the realms of possibility we could find ourselves top of the league next Friday night. Rangers are fragile, and the first goal on Sunday will be crucial again. We need to come out with all guns blazing and I think Deek knows that. -

The team selection was strange, I donāt know why managers over-complicate things so much. However the rash challenge for the pen was stupid and a total game changer. Tansey and GMS are looking like bad buys. -

I never have a bad feeling about us, and Iām as confident going into this game as I would be any other. Remember, they havenāt beaten us at ibrox for 361 days!! Oot Telly 3-1 us May, Christie, McLean -
Agreed, although his return to being joint favourite does (predictably) coincide with our games against them. My guess is mischief making from someone inside ibrox, usual unsettling tactics, and they have so many media people on side it would be easy to start rumours like this. Basically theyāre a bunch of cunts.
-
The constant speculation about him possibly leaving, even if it is largely mischief making by the press where the rangers are concerned, must be having a negative impact on the whole club. The last few years has been a purple patch in terms of stability for afc, players wanting to stay and be a part of whatās happening here - itās been a good time. But.... Iām starting to think it might be best for all involved if his seemingly inevitable departure was sooner rather than later, so we can re-group, re-focus, and start again. I think the world of DMC, and if he goes south he does so with my best wishes. Itās not healthy for us having him linked with every single job going.

Cheers for that, but the fucking Sun was most definitely not my link to the story
-
Heās officially a free agent again, think heāll end up at hearts?
-
Hope youāre right Al.
-
Although, slightly worryingly, he was asked directly if he wanted to stop the speculation by saying he wasnāt interested in the Rangers job - and he refused to do that.
-
What ever happened to that Antikingsford 100 guy? He had plenty of cunt about him.
-
Dazzler Mackie must be sitting at home wondering why that dude Phillips is getting a game instead of him. Itās crossed my mind too. I detest friendlies.
-
Just been watching his pre match interview on sky, I can see what I meant now! Heās got a SAF hooter for sure - must be hitting the vino pretty hard these days!
-
No fucking way Iām reading all that ^^^

I think losing McInnes would be āsome sortā of disaster. Weāre not stupid, most of us understand perfectly well what Scottish football is these days, many of us are old enough to remember happier times, and more desperate times. Thatās why thereās a recent culture of acceptance amongst our support, like 2nd best will do, because in the current climate - it will have to bloody do. I think heās done an amazing job restoring some pride to our club, heās always represented us well and thereās an aura of class and proffesionalism around afc now that was sadly lacking for years. Derek McInnes has never let us down, and heāll be a hard act to follow whether itās Milne doing the recruiting or not. All heās ever asked for in return is progression on the footballing side of the business, proper training facilities to match his ambition. As usual itās miserable Aberdonian nimby wankers whoāre doing their best to hinder him, the same negative cunts that have dragged the whole city down for years. I wouldnāt blame him for leaving, and Iāll always be grateful for what heās done for Aberdeen. I appreciate your dig is at Wiggy here, but this was one decision he got spot on.
-
Could be a positive thing, news that heās staying would give the club another huge lift, the fact itās āthemā heād be turning down (only days before a double header against them) would give the players, staff, and fans an immeasurable boost. He knows itās a dangerous place to go just now, they simply donāt have the resources to compete with Celtic - so his tenure there would be a short one. Praying he remains out boss.
-
Cheers for that, thatās cheered me right up!
-
Erm....... Iām as surprised as you are to read this post this morning. Iāll go and google him to see if I can find out what I was on about last night....
-
....not to be sniffed at. But, Wtf the fuck has happened to Michael OāNeillās hooter?
