There's been a massive improvement. Aberdeen are playing better football than I've seen for a long time. My boredom level at games is a fraction of what it was last season and they 10 seasons before that. The results have been marginally better at best but there's definitely improvement and movement in the right direction. Whether Brown can make us continue further in this direction is the question.

I went to see Zero Dark Thirty on Saturday night and The Impossible last night. Zero Dark Thirty was fucking hideous and a massive let down. About an hour and a half longer than it needed to be and it's only 2 and a half hours long. Shite. The Impossible was ok but it also was a let down. I thought it was meant to be sad? Everyone said it made them greet. I waited and waited and waited but nothing. Not a flicker. And this is coming from someone who is known for being susceptible to tear-jerkers. I don't understand why they showed the Tsunami hitting again at the end? It was completely unnecessary and did nothing for the film. I can only assume that it cost so much to make that part that they wanted to use more of it. It's 2 hours of pain and suffering but if that's enough to make folk greet then they're living under a rock. Next I will see Django and Flight.
