What really is the situation with Diamond's injury? If he is seeing a specialist, I take it the injury must be a bit serious? When he does come back, do you think he deserves to be back in a team that is constantly keeping clean sheets? To be fair to Diamond, he did nothing wrong before he got injured so on that basis Considine may have to make may. Maybe we should just play Zander upfront.

If Sone has been directly told not to go by MM, and has still done gone, then he deserves to be hammered by the club. If Sone has gone to Spain, without being told by MM exactly what the situation is, then this is just shambolic management by MM and AFC. It seems to me that this misunderstanding has come as a result of the club not telling Sone exactly what is or is not allowed. If Sone wants to play for his country, then let him. Dragging him back from Spain is clearly not the way to go here if we want to keep up the morale of our star player. AFC needs a new press officer to stop these stupid things from being leaked. Does anyone know how long it takes to get connected to ESPN if you subscribe online? I already have Sky so hopefully it is just a case of switching me on. What are the chances of Trump 'investing', say, £5 million in the club? As the article suggests, a move like that could win him some local favour. Should Milne/Miller be taking him out for some expensive dinners to try and coax some investment from him, or should they at least make an attempt at communication? Or is that a bit desperate? Maybe if we charge Trump about £10 million, we could rename Pittodrie the 'Donald Trump Soccerplex' or something like that? I know foregn investrs in football clubs get a bad press, and things can sometimes goa bit wrong, but surely with Milne's business sense we could make something work? What I'm really getting at here is that I want enough investment in the club to be able to sign Florent Sinima Pongolle.

I would tend to agree with that, if you're actually interested in making 'serious' money via gambling. I tend to go for like 20/1+ first scorer bets which (obviously) very rarely come in. Think I will stop doing that now, and maybe just stick on a couple of hundred a couple of times a month on something evens or less...

Some good news, finally. I would like to see Ricketts signed as well - Aluko and Ricketts down the wings would be very good in my opinion - two pacey, skillful players.

Signing a new centre back is esential; if we have the new guy in before Saturday, then I think we have a chance. Langfield Considine Diamond Ifil Mulgrew Foster (Or Ricketts) McDonald Kerr Aluko Miller McGuire I think Foster out wide in midfield is where he should have been playing for years. He has pace that players in the SPL simply do not have. If I was MM, I would be telling Ricky to knock the ball past the defender, run round him and collect it, and put crosses in for Miller. Eventually, he will get some good crosses in. Looking at that team, I don't see why we can't give Celtic a good game.
