  1. In/oot: Oot Prematcher: Probably Housework Match: Listening on tinterweb Postmatcher: Making Tea Prediction: close call, but hopefully 2-1 to us
  2. I hope that the team all go into Saturday's game with the same attitude as Langfield and truly believe that they can do this. We don't need a second embarrassing anihilation at celtic park COYR
  3. Lenny's a sound guy. Was depute headie at Kemnay Academy when I was there a few moons ago and I've got a lot of respect for the guy. He's done wonders at AFC. Like previous posters have said all the best Lenny and that's a fair size pair of beets tae fill!
  4. Vernon gets my vote for Saturday's performance

    Friday 3.30pm

Just away to get a chinese for my tea . . . think there's a hobgoblin still sitting in the fridge waiting to be consumed too . . . . .
  6. In/Oot: In Prematcher: Hame Match: South Stand, usual seat Postmatcher: Hame Prediction: 3-1
  7. I'm happy enough with that and as previous folk have said a big plus us getting another home tie and that the ugly sisters have been drawn together.
  8. I disagree with the training match comment. Yes there were mistakes and it probably could have been 8 or 9 instead of 6, but lets not take away from what was a good afternoon's football, and all credit to Langfield who was definitely playing for the shirt today - without question!! The quality of play was such that I forgot how cold it was!! :AFC2:
  9. In/oot: In Prematcher: hame Match: South Stand Postmatcher: makin dinner Prediction: 3-2
  10. "Nit" Too much like a Castle Greyskull flag for my liking.
  11. Like previous posters have said, at least we're on the right track now. Strange how McGhee's idea of organising training was akin to the proverbial inebriation in a brewery seeing how he'd done so well at other clubs but at least that's behind us now. New Year, New Start.
  12. Yip, being realistic 7 from 9 is a lot better than we expected when McGhee wasn't going. Let's hope this is the shape of things to come. New Year, New Start!
  13. Was a fair challenge, Folly was very unlucky. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Folly!! COYR
  14. I'll definitely get my footy fix in February then.
  15. Read a book??? Just dictionary.com it and find oot!!
  16. Broon's just a better outfit altogether. He's got respect for the team and the fans and going by the results so far, it looks like the team has respect for him. He disnae mouth off to the press, he's got nothing but encouragement for the team and the fans (but he's not deluded). He thinks before he speaks and what he speaks appears to be sense. It's amazing what a bit of consistency from the manager does.
  17. In/Oot: In Prematch: New Years Day lunch at his ma's Match: South Stand, Block T. Usual Seat Post Match: Back Hame Prediction: Us 2- Them 1, start the year as we mean to go on
  18. I'm hoping this game will make buying my season ticket finally worth it! Come on dons, you gave us a slightly belated crimbo pressie, surely you can set off on the right foot for the new year too COYR
  19. I've only ever e-mailed AFC about something once, and I did get a reply to my email, albeit addressed to someone called "Laura". I can only assume that there were a few of us complaining about the same thing. What happened to QA'ing something before you send it out.
  20. Here's hoping we don't make a meal of this, we steak our claim on the rest of the season and it doesn't turn out to be mince.
  21. 3 points, well done Dons!! Let's hope this is the shape of things to come! Made my Crimbo! COYR
  22. Yip. Just checked the listing on sky and it's on at 5.30pm
  23. According to AFC Web it's still on
