  1. So because you bought a fiver ticket for your son who won't be there he should be ahead of someone who put trust in the team in July and has been to every home and some cup games? Aberdeen is a business and they should reward those who sign up early, buy season ticket etc. not just go to one off games.
  2. It's a day out though it's not just about the football. Especially if your spending the best part of £50 and 3 hours just to get there. If a game is 12:45 on a Sunday then it just isn't nearly as much fun as 1500 on a Saturday and surely your own enjoyment should be paramount when choosing whether to go or not rather than the some strange sense of loyalty.
  3. There are fairly legitimate reasons for not attending. There will be no boozing time, its on a Sunday, its an early K.O., I've already seen us play St Johnstone three times this season(with a fourth time coming up soon), no trains apart from the ridiculously expensive ones, spent a load of money at the league cup quarter/semi/final rounds, have my dissertation to do and generally can't really be bothered. I've also been a season ticket holder for 13 years on the bounce so I'd like to think I wouldn't be at the last in line for final tickets.
  4. Even after he scored he seemed to have a few good shouts on goal. And the classic negative crowd counter was in force today. Must have been more than 14.5k today. Where were all the empty seats?
  5. Didn't realise Neil Doncaster moonlighted as CEO of Next...
  6. I also bought tickets for Sunday. Forgot how expensive they were! Really looking forward to it though.
  7. Football is so complicated. I support the team in red. Langfeild made a few good saves. Adam is a cunt. This is all I know.

    Moving Away

After posting this I went to cook some food. Then went for a piss, passed out in the bathroom and almost set the whole place on fire. I think I'm going to try and dry out for a while.

    Moving Away

Since Korova wouldn't play Pater Pawlet baby I realised I have to move away. Anyway I have to move away anyway. I have to move away. I really should move away. I think I might move to Canada. I a
  10. Ignore the above. I just signed in and they have a big picture of me. I'm sure it's not a scam.
  11. Has everyone else who signed up for ryder cup tickets received an email about new tickets? Just worried its phishing but seems legit.
  12. You often hear people criticise Scottish football for poor quality, low crowds, lack of competition etc. but none of those things come close to the problem that is corruption right at the heart of Scottish football. We really need to do something about this because it really is just utterly embarrassing. How much more obvious can it about who they favour when your giving them 65% of a stadium that is their one teams home ground at a supposedly neutral setting? There is not a hope in hell that this would ever happen for a non-OF team.
  13. Good. Can you explain why please? Always like hearing stories of people changing their mind to vote yes. Gives me hope for September.
  14. Because Rangers fans take up quite a lot of their viewership and they cannot take any form of criticism...
  15. Received the ten tickets I asked for today. Thank you very much for getting them.
  16. Yes he is. Saved me queuing up, thanks. But how did you know the person I am getting it through? It's worrying me a little bit, especially with your reputation. I will also try and stay out of the way of any hospitals this time. Also he mentioned about going to the pub before the game. I'm guessing this is open to everyone and has not been booked or anything?
  17. Ref has had a word in his ear at Ibrox. Clear foul on the kepper FFS.
  18. Also my mate who is getting my tickets through a mate through a mate through a supporters club told me he is getting it through the Globe Reds. I really hope you guys are keeping my tickets safe. The last league cup final was one my first games and since then it has been years of disappointment. If I miss this final I will not know what to do.
  19. I saw a video of them on youtube about those folk. It really is disgusting how irrational these folk are. How can they give a fuck about stupid meanings like religion and nationalist to such an extent. The hate they pour out because of such silly things. Take a step back FFS. Apart from the Queen I hate nobody.
  20. Yes and I'm getting tickets for nine other folk as well through a mates mate who is getting them through a supporters club. I'm worried about getting lynched if it doesn't come through. But at least other folk don't have their tickets as well.
  21. Don't know about Debenhams because I know very little about them in general. But M & S have a store in Aberdeen, Inverurie and Westhill so I'd be suprised if they are doing poorly. Also with John Lewis I have heard that the store in Aberdeen is one of there best in the UK and it always seems busy but that's just hearsay so meh. There is also a Hugo Boss store in Aberdeen or there was when ever I was in union street during the day time. I only go to union street to get pissed and, hopefully, for trophy parades.

    Friday 3.30pm

Very serious for the Friday at 1530 thread. I got pissed at now I'm back in my flat. Hope everyone else had a good Friday.
  23. I am not that clued up on this but with such intertwined economies is that not cutting off your nose to spite your face behavior from rUK? For instance if HBOS, RBS etc. were to go bust that would affect a lot of account holders and shareholders in rUK.
  24. Should it not be Scotland's pound just as much as it's is Englands? I think it shows how little contempt the UK parties have for Scotland saying we can not use our own currency.
  25. You could also argue that a lot of countries have very little influence over the European central bank. Greece, with high inflation, needs higher interest rates which just isn't going to happen. If Scotland votes no and our economy, for whatever reason, drastically changes from the rUK do you really think the bank of England will care? The UK government was quick to sell off our fishing rights to join the EU and recently close to sabotaging are relationship with the EU to protect London from a Tobin tax. Anyway I still think the Euro is the best way to go. Easier to trade with Europe, it mitigates some of your systematic risk due to trade being with europe so exchange rates don't matter as much and also the main point people have against it with not being able to set your own interest rates shouldn't really effect Scotland anyway. It is designed for economically mature western democracies. Currency unions work with economies that are the same. I may be wrong in my assessment but Ireland while under the euro is still possibly twice as rich as Scotland is and was the first eurozone country out of recession.
