Thats a striker with zero confidence. It’s also a perfect example of how poor we are across the park at the absolute basics - just honking…

Set piece YET AGAIN!! We need a new keeper - enough is enough. Plus two proper CH’s that can actually head a ball and defend balls into the box. Its embarrassing how bad we are back there ffs. Poor coaching and poor players. Not a good combination…

Neither it should be - a massive step up and opportunity. No manager at any club outside the big 5 should ever be turning any of them down. He also fits the profile, identity & style we want to implement - the difference is he’s actually managed to do it at his club, unlike Thelin. I’d be very happy with this one…

Just say no kids…

I’d be more than happy to look at him tbh. He’s done everything (& more considering resources) that JT was supposed to do. He’s been involved in management since 2015, and been a manager since 2018 so its a bit more than 20 games, though I appreciate you’re talking about his time in Scotland. If he leaves us for a bigger job so be it, that’s how fitba works. Would mean he’s been a success here first though. Isn’t Fergie the last manager to leave us & move onto bigger things? Be nice to have another…

Askou for me. Incredibly impressive what he’s achieved in a short time at Motherwell - has shown JT up big time - and his style seems to fit our “playing model” - certainly way more than the likes of Robinson does. Put it this way, anyone who can turn Paul Mcginn into a ball playing defender is some sort of miracle worker - surely he could do something with our lot. Maloney can GTF…

It was actually leaked in the Swedish press first is what I’ve heard. Club wanted to keep it quiet a wee while longer while they get the new guy boxed off, so hopefully that’s well down the road already. Just what I’ve heard, but JT has the AIK job lined up back home apparently - good move for him to a league he works well in if that is the case. Wish him all the best. EDIT: Hadn’t seen the earlier link when I posted so that looks like it has substance then.

I’d be delighted if he joined another club in Scotland - he’d make an utter mess of it there too so one less team to worry about…

Scrub all that, we’re gonna go down there now and wipe the fuckin floor with those hun bastards…
-
He’ll need to sign some proper mannies CH’s then, and a LB. Oh, and some midfielders to cover the back 4 and get forward to support the attack, some wingers and a striker or two As a minimum…

Well, well - he’s gone. I’m genuinely surprised but fair play Dave, you’ve done the right thing at a time where the new guy has a chance to get some of his own players in. Askou for me, incredibly impressive what he’s done at Motherwell. Thanks for the cup Jimmy, but you’ve just not cut it here at all I’m afraid son…

Anyone going to this either needs a George Cross for bravery or sectioned under the mental health act. I refer you to my comments on the Thelin thread as to how this one will go - and its hardly Nostradamus level predictions. I’ll watch, but we all know how this is going to go…
-
Whatever the game plan, we’ll play like timid, scared wee lassies, totally surrender all possession & territory & not lay a glove on them - or have a shot on target. Pretty much same as every game then…

Mowbray at least has a track record of finding us some decent players. I’m not sure what his “consultant” role actually involved last summer either. This boy Almeda has frankly been an unmitigated disaster. I don’t think we’ve made even one half decent signing on his watch. He should go now along with Thelin…

Its all just more words though at the end of the day. Its his squad and his dressing room. Ok, others have input but he’s right there too. He’s assembled a squad with zero fight, physicality, aggression and leadership. Every issue we have on the football side has him front and centre as a reason for it. Lets hope he offers to resign again and this time the club does the right thing…
-
First half the Tims were the better team. Second half the huns came out, went at them and they fell apart - again. We of course just sat off all day and let them play with no pressure at all. Its our culture though, has been for literally decades now - timid, spineless acceptance that we just can’t compete, no matter what…

Crumbling stadium is on Milne. He deliberately let it rot for years. The council have led us a merry dance on the new ground too. Training facilities are good, not their fault they are not being used to any great effect. They only exist because of Cormack. He deserves a slagging for the naming thing though. He’s backed his manager 100% financially. Given him everything and more he could expect. I can’t criticise him for that. The football side is an ongoing shambles though and he has to take the blame for that too. Its nowhere near good enough…
-
Off the park we are a well run club. Commercially / fan engagement / training facilities etc we’re light years better than when Milne was in charge. None of that matters a jot when the football side doesn’t deliver though, and it’s been every bit as bad under Cormack as it was under that gype joiner…

I’ve tried to remain supportive and I’ve been on the fence for a while, but thats it - I’m done. This guy is a clueless charlatan. He has absolutely no idea how to fix any of the issues we have. 18 months in and millions spent to produce a genuine bottom 6 SPFL outfit. It’s a complete joke. He needs to go, he won’t of course, but he needs to. Instead we’ll waste another transfer window and stumble on with this directionless, clueless mess. It’s completely unacceptable…
-
Not sure why you would keep two CH’s utterly incapable of handling the physicality of Scottish football…
-
That there sums up keskinen perfectly. The footballing brain of a single cell amoeba…
-
Who can blame them. The effort to attend today and they get this - again. Enough is enough…
-
Absolutely pathetic at the back at a set piece yet again. Seriously, Thelin just GTF. You have done nothing to address this stuff in over a year. Clueless…
-
Abysmal again. Just more of the same, second best all over the park. If you are (inexplicably) going to field a team in the Scottish league with a glaring lack of physicality and aggression - especially in midfield - then you need to control the game via possession, passing and moving the ball and playing through the lines. All things we are utterly incapable of doing. The line that we have good players and good technical players just doesn’t stand up to scrutiny I’m afraid - especially when we get outplayed week after week by run ofvthe mill SPL journeymen…
