I feel you may be being a tad harsh, I thought he played well in sets 2 and 3 and seemed to be serving the better. During the long rallys however he seemed to be the one who ran out of patience first, which was very frustrating. Djokovic is like a robot, no wonder he has the neutrals supporting his opponents.

Wogan was pretty harmless IMHO. Certainly made the shambles that is Eurovision almost bearable. Princess Di? She can GTF.
  4. Full results - Andy Murray polled 361,446 votes followed by: Kevin Sinfield 278,353, Jessica Ennis-Hill 79,898, Tyson Fury 72,330, Lewis Hamilton 48,379, Chris Froome 39,007, Mo Farah 31,311, Max Whitlock 25,925, Greg Rutherford 23,492, Lizzie Armitstead 22,356, Adam Peaty 13,738, Lucy Bronze 13,236. Great for Murray. He seems to have won round the most of the nation, although the comments about his lack of personality are just nonsense. He certainly has to be considered Scotland's greatest sportsman.
  5. Primal Scream at the Beach Ballroom. Pre-sale if anybody wants it: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/chaosmosis/tickets Also playing Glasgow, Manchester, London (same link applies).
  6. Pistorius found guilty of murder by appeal court. Some sense at last!

Surely Murray can be talked about as one of our greatest ever sports persons. Another brilliant achievement.

I thought Spectre was pretty decent. It seemed a bit slow in the middle but livened up when Waltz appeared, and he was excellent. Andrew Scott also very good. I do like Mendes's nods to the Connery films - clearly there were nods to From Russia With Love and You Only Live Twice in Spectre.
  11. I think the talk has been nipped in the bud. It's getting boring seeing bands comeback so quickly. Look at Faithless, they've come back and decided to get some of their classics remixed by the likes of Avicii. What a pile of horse shit. Speaking of horse shit. Agree with rocket re: U2.

    Spectre any good?
  13. A common misconception from yes supporters.
  14. Even if Platini is absolved of any blame, he cannot surely be considered as a credible candidate anymore. FIFA needs to be disbanded and a completely new organisation put in place.
  15. Outstanding run of form at the moment, a joy to behold. It's probably going to come crashing down as I jinx it by going to the ICT game on Saturday!
  16. Phoenix Nights was brilliant.
  17. Castle Grayskull being where the good guys lived! With regard to the charges brought, I really hope David Murray gets hung out to dry.
  18. Leftfield @ Music Hall Hot Chip @ Barras
  19. Been twice, awesome experience. Presume you visited the late night areas? They're quite something!
  20. No.
  21. I've finished Martin Fletcher's book about the Bradford fire, really interesting and compelling stuff. Clearly the initial inquiry was far too hasty and narrow in it's scope. I had no idea Fletcher was also present at Hillsborough. That's mental that he witnessed both!
  22. T in the Park, many years ago!
  23. I've seen Coldplay live! They were utter mince!
