  1. Time to create the "Warnings/Bannings" section of DonsTalk.
  2. Might be worth going into the club shop, as I suspect there is more (although not much) in the club shop than there is in the online shop.
  3. I believe that's 20 home games and 18 away this season in the league!
  4. Fixtures are up: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/fixtures/default.stm
  5. Fair play to Maguire for getting his two goals, his 2nd was a very tight angle. At the time I thought Aluko had taken the ball out of play but I've just seen it on TV and it was right on the line. Quite an entertaining game, both teams going for it. Falkirk started very well but the opening goal settled us down. I thought we just deserved to win, especially considering all the time wasting Falkirk were doing which came back to haunt them big style!
  6. Home - Hibs, Dundee Utd, Rangers Away - Celtic, Motherwell Setanta just confirmed. Didn't catch the exact dates but its Celtic, Hibs, Dundee Utd, Motherwell, Rangers in that order. We are not on any of the live games.
  7. They'll finally be able to prise it from him. He was a class actor, but made to look a bit of a fool in Bowling for Columbine.

  10. Just finished reading "Touching from a distance" by Deborah Curtis. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Touching-Distance-Deborah-Curtis/dp/0571239560/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1207210653&sr=8-1 What a sad, depressing story but very well written and thoroughly engrossing. It seemed a very honest account of her life with Ian Curtis and it didn't come across as bitchy or that she had any bridges to burn. I knew Ian had epilepsy but didn't realise it was so bad, at one point he was having up to 4 attacks per night. She was basically looking after him and their child single handedly until he went and had his affair. Obviously the book is one side of the story but Deborah did not have a good time of it and its easy to feel a lot of sympathy for her. Ian wasn't painted in a particularly good light but perhaps this was the real Ian. The book also includes a complete gig history (Joy Division played Aberdeen!) and all the lyrics. Got the book free with the Control DVD!
  11. I think you've answered your own question there!
  12. The one when Lee Miller holds it up for you first?
  13. They're not paying his wages, every player has a personal sponsor. See our award winning match day programme!
  14. Not got time for a Five Knuckle Shuffle then?

  16. Aye, 24th, day before the Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K which I'm entered in to.
  17. Is that an ultra wide TV on the left?
  18. I think somebody needs to clarify the meaning of "mediocrity". This season has been extremely inconsistent but to describe it as mediocre compared to the last 7 or 8 years is just nonsense IMHO. If we reach the last 32 of the UEFA cup, and two domestic semi finals for next 3 or 4 years, and that's mediocre, then I'll accept that. I personally think this is where we should be each season, as we've not had it like this for a while. Small steps and all that.
  19. Lets hope you get a migraine in Seal Clubber Country!
  20. I've just finished reading "Great Expectations". It wasn't all I hoped it would be.
  21. Crick's is over his whole life.
